My 02DR2 failed to upgrade again. Im trying to update from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4. It is connected to the zigbee connection in NSPro V4.4.0
In fact it has never been a straightforward process. I’m not sure how sonoff test these upgrades before issue but they need to widen the use case tested. Using an ideal lab environment is not helpful.
I suspect the answer (once again) will be to disconnect from zigbee, connect direct to Ewelink, upgrade, then disconnect and go back to zigbee. What a poor process.
As an additional irritation this will cause unnecessary entities in HA which are then left redundant and clogging up the entity list
Come on Sonoff - get your act together
