Here you’ll find the release notes for NSPanel Pro firmware. We’ll update it with every new release so you always have the latest details.

How to Update

  1. On the Nspanel Pro Device:
    NSPanel Pro Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> About -> Software update.

  2. Via eWeLink App:
    Open the eWeLink App, go to your NSPanel Pro device settings page, and check for firmware updates.

Release Tracks

We maintain two release channels:

  • Beta Releases (Latest: v4.4.0): These versions are in beta testing, offering early access to the latest features.
    Pre-release builds for beta testing, providing early access to new features.
    To join the Beta program, apply here: ** NSPanel Pro V4.x.x Beta Test Application Tool Now Open - NSPanel Pro - eWeLink Forum** Enrolled devices will receive Beta updates.

  • Stable (Public) Release (Latest: v4.1.5): Fully tested releases available to all users. Devices on the Stable channel receive these updates by default.

NSPanel Pro V4.4.0

New Features

  • Expanded the set of NSPanel Pro capabilities exposed as Home Assistant entities via MQTT broker. You can now control the following entities from Home Assistant:

    • Start/stop microphone recording on NSPanel Pro.

    • Play audio on the NSPanel Pro speaker.

    • Enable/disable Wake on Proximity to wake the NSPanel Pro screen when you approach.

  • Added support for IKEA E2112 Zigbee air quality sensor.

  • Added on-screen control support for eligible Wi-Fi devices, including:

    • SONOFF AWF-07P

    • SONOFF SAWF-08P

    • SONOS Speakers (S2 Sonos systems only)

  • Added an option to configure extra travel time for SONOFF MINI-ZBRBS in the eWeLink App to help ensure full open/close with manual calibration.

  • Added Adaptive Mode for SONOFF TRVZB, configurable in the eWeLink App, to help maintain a more stable room temperature.

  • Added Do Not Disturb mode with scheduling and per-category notification exceptions, reducing unwanted interruptions while still allowing important alerts.

  • NSPanel Pro can now use personal images uploaded via the eWeLink App for its screen saver.

Optimizations

  • Central Heating Feature Improvements:

    • Room list and device location changes now update automatically on NSPanel Pro (no reboot required).

    • Connected boiler/valve actuators are turned off automatically when removing a Central Heating system or a room thermostat, preventing them from being left on.

    • Related central heating systems or room thermostats are marked as “Invalid” when a connected device is removed, moved, or disconnected.

  • Improved multi-channel device tile with more intuitive interactions.

  • Access to features, including Matter Bridge, F-Droid, and Apps, is now disabled in Guest Mode.

  • Camera view now supports switching between Landscape and Portrait orientations.

  • Support syncing eWeLink-Remote device status even when the screen is off.

  • Added a Block Firmware Updates toggle to stop automatic firmware update checks and downloads.

Bug Fix

  • Fixed an issue where the Home App selection in NSPanel Pro wasn’t applied as expected after it was configured in Android system settings.

NSPanel Pro V4.3.0

New Features

  • NSPanel Pro can now act as a Matter Bridge to sync Home Assistant entities to Matter-enabled platforms.

  • NSPanel Pro can now expose its capabilities as entities to Home Assistant via MQTT Broker, configured in the eWeLink App, including:

    • NSPanel’s speaker is now exposed in Home Assistant, enabling startup volume adjustments.
    • Added support for adding NSpanel Pro’s Zigbee sub-devices via Home Assistant.
    • Supports setting the screen to awake/sleep and adjusting brightness from Home Assistant.
    • Smart Security can now be armed and disarmed from Home Assistant.
    • A list of Zigbee devices synced from NSPanel Pro is now available in Home Assistant

  • Added support for SONOFF MINI-ZB2GS with stepping control, configurable in the eWeLink App, allowing external switch press actions to cycle through a preset step sequence of relay states.

  • Notifications on NSPanel Pro now support custom ringtones and messages for Smart Security and Smart Scene events.

  • Added an option to show the live camera feed on NSPanel Pro when triggered as a scene action.

  • The Central Heating screen can now be enabled via the eWeLink App and supports reordering.

Optimizations

  • Improved device tiles with clearer status and more intuitive tap interaction.

  • Consistent screen sleep/wake and screensaver behavior across all apps.

  • Added an option to mute the startup sound.

  • Improved TRV support on NSPanel Pro, including:

    • Display and control in the thermostat screen view.
    • Enhanced tile information for current status and target temperature.

  • Reboots are no longer necessary for smoothly switching between Zigbee Hub Mode and Zigbee Router Mode.

  • Expanded support for custom ringtones, allowing up to 5 uploaded ringtones.

  • Temperature adjustments for Thermostat are now more precise when configured in the eWeLink App.

  • Optimized the layout of NSPanel Pro’s control page in eWeLink App for a clearner view.

  • Screen reordering is now supported for all custom screens.
  • Multi-channel devices now show each channel as a separate tile on NSPanel Pro screens when linked via the eWeLink App.
  • Added two new temporary modes for SONOFF TRVZB:
    • Boost Mode: Heats the room quickly for a short period.
    • Temperature Override Mode: Temporarily maintains a user-set temperature.
  • Added support for deleting MQTT Broker configurations when syncing Zigbee sub-devices to Home Assistant over MQTT.
  • Improved 12-hour time format display.
  • Improved the date format shown on the Screen Saver.
