Sorry â there have been so many messages that itâs easy to lose track.
You previously described an issue related to the Matter Bridge, and that problem is already being handled.
Now youâre mentioning heating control â could you clarify what issue youâre referring to there?
Within the framework of heating control, it is necessary to be able to add more than one device. Often the solution is to turn on the heat pump and open the servo valve.
Another problem is that the heat pump and electric boiler only have one contact which is used to turn on the heating.
Since they use the same device to turn off the heating, one thermostat turns off the heating and the other turns it on, and it does this continuously.,
In this case, it is important to make sure that the thermostats cannot turn each other off. I have written about this here many times and no one is solving it.
Your heating controls are only suitable for heating an aquarium, not for solid house heating. I assume we will ignore this problem for a long time to come AMD
Some futher feedback on the eWeLink Cube V2.8.0 and TRVZB v1.4.0 software updates:
Had to keep re-booting iHost to get it to communicate properly with TRVZBs-and recognise their âHeatingâ or âKeepingâ Statuses, then battery condition for every TRVZB was showing as âUnknown %â - had to power down every TRVZB to restore a proper battery condition value. Sonoff Team Iâm sure all of us appreciate your hard work to provide additional features, but most times software updates do cause a lot of problems in an operational environment. The feedback from myself and others in this thread show just that.
On this occasion after a iHost re-boot I couldnât get rid of it despite several further re-boots. I eventually managed to get rid by changing out the ethernet router.
We tested configuring a âKeepingâ execution condition for the TRVZB within a scene, and it executed successfully.
We suspect the issue may be related to the device itself, so we need you to provide the corresponding system logs to help us identify the cause.
I now have the âKeepingâ status working properly in scenes after removing the battery from each TRVZB and installing again (power up re-boot for each TRVZB). Photo shows example of battery condition âUnknown%â which was also resolved by battery removal. I did not need to Delete and Pair again any devices.
Is there a method how we can force TRVZBs to âcold-startâ and re-boot without removing the battery ? I have sent you system log via iHost feedback.
Since updates to iHost v2.8.0 and TRVZB 1.4.0 have noticed at least 2 of 9 TRVZBs going âmadâ. Can only be brought back to proper operation by removing battery. -See video. Ticket ID257363.
