Hi, we’ve deployed the new firmware for your NSPanel Pro. You can now check for updates in Settings > About to get version v4.0.x. If you encounter any issues, please feel free to contact me!
Thank you very much for trying out v4.0.x firmware of NSPanel Pro.
How to launch an f-droid application? The HA app works quite well, but when the panel is started, the only way I found to launch it was to go to f-droid, search for the app and click the “open” button (when not configuring HA as the launcher).
We plan to add a new screen called Apps which will list all these installed apps from F-Droid. You can swipe to Apps screen (from Home screen, or other screen), and then click on the app icon to launch the app. This feature will be included in v4.2.0 firmware which is scheduled to be released on December 8th.
Is there a way to have an app started automatically?
Even if the App is not Home App? If so, this is a new scenario we didn’t think of. But we could do it if it is useful.
Will the next release of ewelink app allow us to select app(s) for the theme’s buttons?
This feature will also be included in v4.2.0 firmware.
Saw you plan to enable the screen sleep while using apps (mainly HA for me), would you have any ETA? Will it work even if we choose HA as the launcher?
This feature will also be included in v4.2.0 firmware.
v4.1.0 firmware which will be released on November 6th, will add two major features:
- Matter Bridge: able to export Zigbee devices (connect to NSPanel Pro itself) to 3rd-party Matter Fabric (such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings, etc.). Support for eWeLink Wi-Fi devices is in
v4.2.0firmware. - Embrace Home Assistant: able to export Zigbee devices (connect to NSPanel Pro itself) to Home Assistant through HA’s MQTT protocol. Support for NSPanel Pro its own capabilities is in
v4.2.0firmware.
We will publish our roadmap for v4.1.0, v4.2.0, v4.3.0, v4.4.0 tomorrow (Saturday).
Hi, your NSPanel Pro (Device ID: 100243ab4c) has been added to our OTA whitelist. Please check the latest firmware through Settings -> About -> Software Update on your NSPanel Pro device.

Sorry for the issue. Please submit a log on the NSPanel Pro device through Top drop-down menu -> Settings -> About -> Feedback -> Submit. The best timing is right after you tried to start the voice call from eWeLink App or NSPanel Pro.
The same problem exists in Zigbee Ultra Bridge.
I think I know what you mean. Please allow us some time to verify it.
What problem? Please be specific.
done, thank you
We will look into it ASAP.
The external sensor connection is disconnected on thermostatic valves. The valves and sensors are connected to the ZigBee Ultra bridge. The same issue also exists in NS Panel Pro 4.0.7.

Will this device receive updates?

Got it. Thank you very much for reporting. We’ll verify it ASAP.
The same issue also exists in NS Panel Pro 4.0.7.
We’ve fixed it in v4.0.10 firmware. Are your NSPanel Pro (Device ID 100189254e?) currently on v4.0.7? If so, you can update it to v4.0.10 through Settings -> About -> Software Update.
**3.12.0 version.
Did not receive updates
OK, we’ll add your NSPanel Pro to our OTA whitelist tomorrow. I’ll let you know when we did it.
Thanks for your quick and detailed answer! I can’t wait for v4.2 which seems to fit all my needs for a HA wall panel…
Will you post the roadmap in this thread?
May I ask if the device causing this phenomenon is a Philips device? If so, this phenomenon may indeed exist because the interface provided by Philips requires scheduled queries rather than real-time synchronization to us.
I would also like to see the eWeLink app to give current software version, even if ADB/Developer Mode is active. Would be nice to check/update from app instead of panel again. ![]()
