Why don’t you allow the possibility of adding a shortcut to an application from the NsPanel 120 interface that we installed ourselves (adb mode activated)?
We at eWeLink are definitely not anti-adb, and we’d love to provide better ways to launch apps, no matter how they are installed, F-Driod or adb. It just requires some development work, and we are busy working on features with higher priorities. Having said that, we plan to implement a feature called Apps Screen and App Switcher in v4.2.0 firmware. Please refer to NSPanel Pro Roadmap and Co-Created Future for details.
And to launch automatically at startup by putting the interface of your application in screensaver.
I’m not sure what you really mean. But we are also going to provide Always auto-start on system boot for NSPanelPro App and System-level screensaver in v4.2.0 firmware.
Same thing, the update was blocked because, OK, we opened ADB mode, which is ridiculous. We lose the warranty, OK, we accept it, but blocking updates…
I personally understand your anger. But it’s SONOFF’s After-Sales Warranty Policy. It is clearly stated when you enable ADB in Developer Mode. You don’t have to enable ADB if you don’t want to lose warranty.
Anyway, we at eWeLink provided OTA service for your device after you applied, right? As I said before, I’d love to see more NSPanel Pro devices running on v4.x firmware, no matter they are rooted or not. We sincerely want to make NSPanel Pro more useful for our dear users.
