NSPanel Pro V4.0.5 Optimized Version Released

Currently the V4.0.X version has only been rolled out to some NSPanel Pro 86&120 versions. Did you receive the update? If not, please send me the Device ID of your NSPanel Pro through private message. I’ll arrange the firmware OTA for you.

This looks like a bug to me. Would you please tell us the Model of the TP matter device?

By the way, the bug occurs when you turn on the TP matter device through eWeLink App, or the device itself?

I am also bothered by the lacking of system screensaver. The screen is always on when using other Apps. This is especially annoying at night.

@LMX We should look into this issue and solve it ASAP.

Is there a newer firmware version than 4.0.0 for the NSPanel Pro 86? If so, please add my panel to the update bunch: 1001ea2549. Thanks.

Thank you for your valuable suggestions. When planning version 4, we considered a way to quickly access F-Droid’s installed apps, such as through a drop-down menu or desktop cards. However, due to the extensive development workload, this feature has not been included in the current version. We will respond within three weeks with a specific launch date for this feature. We also hope you will share your usage habits and suggestions.

V4.0.0 is the latest version for NSPanel Pro 86 Type.

Actually, you (and other users in NSPanel Pro category of eWeLink forum) are on our VIP user list, and will always receive the latest version first.

The latest version of the 120 Type and the 86 Type are indeed not consistent right now. We will fill the gap on V4.1.

Yes i agree if you use the system OS but not for HA users

Yes, it definitely is. It’s a socket, model WIFIBLE_TY03 (I guess).

The bug occurs when turning on from the app, the panel, or the device itself. On the page where I see all the devices the button works fine (turning blue or gray and responding to a short press), but on the main page or “desktop” where I added a shortcut, it would never turn blue, and also the short press isn’t working… only long press to enter the device state, and then there I can turn on or off. It does work, but when I go back to the main page the button is still gray.

Got it. Thank you for the extra info. We will look into it ASAP.

i also would have a request

would it be possible to activate the proximity sensor ? it would be great to have this working and wake up the screen on presence vicinity

Thank you

I am sorry to say NSPanel Pro has built-in ICC light sensor but no proximity sensor. Where did you get the info about proximity sensor of NSPanel Pro? Or you are just suggesting that it would be better for NSPanel Pro to have built-in proximity sensor?

i read that enabling developer mode and by side loading some apps is possible to use the proximity sensor. i have an old nspanel pro that i use for testing and i followed a tutorial found on web and this working fine.

I really need to confirm this with our hardware manager, and maybe even test it myself.

I should be able to come back with a confirmation before next weekend. Most of our team members are on Chinese National Day holiday now.

Hi, thank you for participating in the experience of version V4.0.x. Most of our team members are on Chinese National Day holiday now.We will arrange a firmware OTA update for you as soon as possible and notify you after configuration.

So I updated my NSPanel Pro 120 to 4.0.4.
I’ve got a lot of crashes in F-Droid, after installing Home Assistant, HA crashed while configuring it.
After I’ve done everything, now it’s running without any more crashes. Lets see the next days how it goes.
The only bad thing is how to start HA. I have to start F-Droid, search for Home Assistant, select the found app, then press “Open” to start it. Is there an easier way?
