NSPanel Pro frv.: 4.5.0 feedback

Hi, currently you need to first add the device to the NSPanelPro split-screen association before you can select it as the temperature/humidity source. At the same time, we are also working on a new solution for the device synchronization process that is easier to understand and operate.

I didn’t sync them so I have nothing to add.

Have you successfully upgraded? In this situation, it’s generally related to the network the device is currently connected to—the download may be stuck. If it still hasn’t succeeded, you can submit the logs, and I’ll check if there’s any specific abnormal cause.

After reset to factory settings everything works. also the update went through. Have you not thought about the fact that after reboot it automatically deletes the cache for ota updates?

Hi @Milk , on beta firmware 4.5.0 on nspanel pro 120, i found issues when running Home Assistant. Tested for 3 days in a row and got same result: Home Assistant is set as home screen from sonoff menu. It works fine for few hours , but next morning the screen is unresponsive, proximity sensor does not work, and i have to tap the screen to wake up the nspanel. After i tap the screen appears but when i exit home assistant using accessibility button the device restarts itself. I had factory reset and tried again but same issue.

Please see video:

I have exact same issue i reported on version 4.4 and i was hoping version 4.5 would fix this but it has not

Hello. I had to re-add every zigbee device but they now all seem to be working well. Unfortunately I’m still having what may be wifi issues. Sometimes tapping light cards (hue bridge synced via matter) doesn’t work and shows a ‘failed’ message, and camera feeds are very unreliable (sometimes they don’t work at all, and sometimes they work but not for long).

Hi @Milk , Installed, works fine for me. I don’t use HA or other features, pure NSPP 86, and ewelink application. All scenes, ZigBee and Matters devices, are stable and execute schedules and scenes. Garden watering, blinds, lights, and all occupancy, motion, and temperature sensors are all working. (Except for the door open sensor…it always disconnects after some time) For now, of course, we’ll see in a few days. Perhaps success lies in the simplicity of the system? :face_with_hand_over_mouth::wink: Great job! I’m waiting for a few devices - a wireless ground moisture sensor, an outdoor one, a rain sensor - wireless. Battery-powered presence sensor? But that’s a different topic. The software is getting better and better! The entire team did a great job! P.s. The photo shows my command center :smiley:

Hi, this is indeed an issue. Thank you for your logs. I have identified the cause and immediately released the fix version 4.5.1. Please check for the new version and try upgrading.

Version 4.5.1 has fixed this issue for me

thank you

Max

Hello. Unfortunately, I’m still having problems on fw 4.5.1. My lights (hue bridge synced via matter) become unresponsive, and camera feeds, although improved, frequently disconnect and then struggle to reconnect. I’ve sent feedback. The first submission failed, then I saw a message about matter devices being discovered on the same network. My lights started working again, and the second feedback submission was successful.

I can’t see the upgraded version on both panel and application.

I am on v4.4-446-440-1173.

What can I do?

Version 4.5.1 still doesn’t offer any real Matter support, and separate inquiries about its status are not being answered. Therefore, I cannot recommend this product if you need the Matter support promised by the marketing department.

Hi, V4.5.1 has not been fully rolled out yet. You can get the latest version by joining through the beta tool:

Hi, the current NSPanelPro already supports Matter capabilities (including syncing devices from eWeLink to other Matter platforms via the NSPanelPro, as well as syncing devices from other Matter Bridges to eWeLink via the NSPanelPro, allowing you to control devices from the App or the screen). May I ask what specific issue you are currently encountering? Could you please describe it to me in detail? Thank you in advance for your patience.

I’ve noticed that for some time now, I don’t know which version, the weather icon stopped updating. The only thing that helps is changing the theme, and then it updates once. But then it doesn’t update again. Has anyone else noticed this?

I’ve noticed that issue since the earliest releases and for a long time, but it was never a priority to me and at some point I’ve stopped to look at it, don’t know if it’s still there on 4.5.1

I’ve been using a custom wallpaper myself, so I didn’t notice this issue before. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I’ll check the cause as soon as possible and get back to you.

In the meantime, could you please submit the NSPanel Pro logs? I’ll check the logs to better understand the specific cause of the issue you’re encountering.

So let’s move on to my new observations. It is common to install more than one NSPP in houses. I always solve the same problem and that is that I need to set the same screens on all NSPPs.

My goal is to set up all the screens on one NSPP and I will be able to synchronize them so that the other NSPPs will have the same screens.

When I set up devices in any tab and add another dilution, the order breaks down. I have to re-determine the order for each device, it is extremely annoying and very annoying. Please do something about it!?

If I understand correctly, you’re looking for a feature that can synchronize the current NSPanel Pro-1 screen configuration—including synced devices, scenes, widgets, and their layout/order—to other NSPanel Pro devices under the same account (such as NSPanel Pro-2, NSPanel Pro-3, and so on). Is that correct?

This is indeed a very practical and interesting idea. I’ll give some thought to how we could implement it and will get back to you with my thoughts.
