Hi,
Since versions 4.9.0 and 4.9.1 —and despite a full reset— the screen changes orientation several times during startup and eventually settles into landscape mode. Furthermore, when I force the orientation to portrait mode, the setting is not retained after the next reboot (observed on both my Gen 1 NSPanel Pro 86 units).
After updating the device to firmware version 4.9.1, the screen’s default boot orientation changed to landscape mode instead of its normal portrait mode
@Tops @Tamer_Salah Hi, sorry about this issue. I’m currently looking into it. If it turns out to be a bug, we’ll work to fix it as soon as possible and keep you updated.
Thank you in advance for your patience.
yes, please , it is quite urgent as I can’t do it remotely because this function is not reported neither on the app neither on the Nspanel webpage
Hello,
I’ve been experiencing the same problem since installing firmware 4.9.
It seems to be quite a common issue.
Hi,
I m too seeing same issue.
Thanks
Same here, with the last two minor updates. Setting to Portrait in Display settings fixes it, though..
I am also seeing the NS Panel Pro 120 and the NS Panel Pro Pn and zoff every second through the Ewelink.App. they are blinking like vehicle indicators.
I am.alsi accessing them.remotely only.
Mine are all on V. 4.9.2
Hi, sorry about this issue.
Regarding the screen rotation problem, we have released version 4.9.2 as a temporary fix. If you encounter the issue, you can also manually change the screen orientation back by going to Settings > Display > Screen Orientation.
We’re working to release another version later today to fully address this issue as soon as possible.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and the impact this has had on your normal use.
Unfortunately in version 4.9.2 - same issue with wrong screen orientation, it means that nothing changed after reported issue in version 4.9.1
Ja mám tiež tento problém s obrazovkou
The newly released 4.9.3 version has resolved this issue. Please try upgrading to the latest version and see if everything works normally.
Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused.
După ugrade-ul la 4.9.3, la mine nu are nici un efect. Ecranul este rotit cu 90 de grade in sens antiorar, iar dacă setez Portret, ecranul este cu susul în jos.
Do you mean that after upgrading to 4.9.3, the screen rotation issue still occurs when your device starts up?
Could you please record a short video showing exactly what happens? After recording the video, please submit the NSPanel Pro logs as soon as possible by swiping down on the screen and going to Settings > Feedback > Submit.
Then, please send me your device ID separately, and I’ll check it as
OK, I’ll check the logs first.
Had your device switched the screen orientation before?
If you manually change it to the correct orientation now, will the screen orientation become incorrect again after you power off and restart the device?
I never change screen orientation. I did not know this setting exist. I didn’t try to change orientation and reboot. I’l try today.
I try what you say, nothing is happened. The screen is upside down.
You can try going to:
Swipe down on the screen > Settings > Advanced Settings
Screen Orientation, There you can adjust the screen display to any of the four available orientations.
If it’s convenient, could you please record a short video showing the setting process and the screen behavior afterward? This will help me better understand the current situation on your device.
Thank you in advance for your help and cooperation.
After a factory reset everything is normal now. Thanks.
