Yesterday I added one device MINI ZBRBS with the ihost (from the computer, and I can not see it in the NS pannel pro and therefore I can not manage it from the NS pannel pro, only from the website in ihost
How can I see zigbee devices from ihost and ns pannel pro?
Unless I’ve missed something, the ZBMINI R2 hasn’t been listed in any official source as compatible with Paral-Sync. Paral-Sync supports the ZBMINIL2, but the ZBMINI R2 is a different version - older, less advanced, though still Zigbee 3.0. Synchronization via Paral-Sync requires the device to be locally added to the NSPanel Pro and to be compatible with its firmware and Zigbee stack.
It seems that in this case, a hardware upgrade will be necessary
Nope, quite the opposite! I was talking about the ZBMINI R2.
The Mini-ZBRBS are probably still too fresh, not yet on the party list. These things have happened before. Most likely, in the heat of launch-day excitement, they got swept up by the shiny new release and forgot all about Paral-Sync. Hopefully someone from the staff spots that forum thread soon and clears things up before we all start reverse-engineering new Zigbee toys
don’t forguet the target of these thread, which is to program scenes from ihost with all zigbee devices, and also at the same time to create manual buttons in NS pannel pro to be able to perfom actions manually with these zigbee devices
Example, the idea is to program lights with sensor presence in ihost and put buttons in NS pannel pro to switch on/off manually when needed
Back when I was a moderately satisfied iHost owner, meaning hope only lost to experience once a week. this kind of setup didn’t quite work. The eWeLink/Sonoff architecture politely forces you to choose: either NSPanel Pro as the main Zigbee hub, or iHost. You can link them partially, but full symmetry? Only in your hopes. The Paral-Sync add-on offered some relief, though more like a band-aid than a cure. So after nearly a year, I decided to head toward Home Assistant, and despite a few limitations, it was the right move for my sanity.
Just to be clear: I still use over 30 Sonoff devices and occasionally buy new ones. Because, as we all know, most of Sonoff devices are an excellent choice as far as hardware, design and price are concerned. And as for the software limping along… well, that can be fixed, though sometimes it takes an impossibly long time. One might say that’s part of Sonoff’s irresistible charm: the thrill of waiting, the suspense of rebooting, and the occasional joy when things actually work
SONOFF MINI-ZBRBS Zigbee does not stop when it reaches the end of its travel or continues to power the blind at the beginning.
When the Dual R3 model raises the blind, the relay stops powering the blind, but the SONOFF MINI-ZBRBS Zigbee does not.
Today I returned two, both of which worked the same way. I will wait to see if they fix the R3 Dual Wi-Fi disconnecting the relay when the blind is raised or lowered.
The ZBMINI-RBS device is designed to work with a motor equipped with a limit switch. The relays are only deactivated when the motor is stopped by the limit switch. This ensures that the roller shutter will always close completely, even if it becomes decalibrated.
What I need is to create manual scenes in NS pannel pro to open/close curtains or switch on/off manually, and, at the sametime, for this smart devices, to create automatic scenes to open/close curtains or switch on/off lights with sensors.
I have zigbee devices like MINI-ZBRBS and ZBMINIR2, in which I had to sync from ewelink app to be able to create manual scenes.
For ZBMINIR2 i have created manual scenes in ewelink which are visible in NS pannel pro but I can not sync devices in ihost with paralsync. No way to create smart or automatic scenes in ihost
For MINI-ZBRBS I’m not able to do anything when I sync from ewelink. No way to create manual button in NS pannel pro, no way to manage from movil app, and no way to see this device trough paralsync
From you points:
Add Zigbee devices (such as ZBMINI R2 and MINI-ZBRBS) to NSPanel Pro. YES
Using Paral-Sync Add-on running on iHost to sync these Zigbee devices from NSPanel Pro to iHost. YES, BOTH
Control these Zigbee devices on iHost (Dashboard, Automation, etc.). YES, AND ALSO TO CREATE MANUAL BUTTONS IN NS Pannel pro
Maybe there are other options no do my needs with a different add-on
What I need is to create manual scenes in NS pannel pro to open/close curtains or switch on/off manually, and, at the sametime, for this smart devices, to create automatic scenes to open/close curtains or switch on/off lights with sensors.
From my understanding, you could just add Zigbee devices to NSPanel Pro and manage them using eWeLink App. You should be able to create manual scenes in eWeLink App and add them to the screen of NSPanel Pro.
So for you, ZBMINIR2 works, but not MINI-ZBRBS, right? I will check this with my colleague immediately after Chinese National Day holiday.
If you want to control the devices in your eWeLink account from iHost, why don’t you install eWeLink Smart Home Add-on which will export all the devices (including Zigbee devices added to NSPanel Pro) in your eWeLink account to iHost.
For MINI-ZBRBS I’m not able to do anything when I sync from ewelink. No way to create manual button in NS pannel pro, no way to manage from movil app, and no way to see this device trough paralsync.
We have confirmed following results:
MINI-ZBRBS can be paired to NSPanel Pro directly. If you met issue on this, please let me know.
If you pair MINI-ZBRBS to other eWeLink/SONOFF Zigbee Hub (such as ZBBridge-U/-P), it can’t be synced to NSPanel Pro. This is a bug, and this is your case, right? We will fix this bug ASAP. At the same time, is it possible that you re-pair MINI-ZBRBS to NSPanel Pro instead of ZBBridge-U/-P?
Related ewelink smart home in ihost, it’s only working with wifi devices. I don’t see zigbee devices like ZB minr2
Yes, this is true and now we think it is NOT a wise decision. We will release a version of eWeLink Smart Home Add-on before October 17th (next Friday) which will export all Zigbee devices of NSPanel Pro to eWeLink CUBE OS on iHost.
Currently, this is the fastest way for us to enable you using Zigbee devices from NSPanel Pro on iHost.
Please let me know if you have any other requirements.
Hi, we have just released a new version of eWeLink Smart Home Add-on for eWeLink CUBE OS on iHost. Now users could be able to export all Zigbee devices from NSPanel Pro to iHost. Please check it out.
Hi there! Based on valuable user feedback, we’ve just released the optimized v4.0.7 today, which includes the following fixes and improvements:
Added support for MINI-RBS
