hi,
can’t set a percentage in Node Red but can in usual scenes. Was okay in usual scenes.
thanks
incidentally that was in the NR version released in July, but it just happened in the October one. Just about ti up date the Ewelink palette, but its not very old.
yes, happens even in last palette version too.
incidently it’s a zigbee Blind from Moes (which I think use Tuya).
Hi, errke.
Has this blind been calibrated?
Can I be controlled through iHost?
Yes calibrated.
It can be controlled by percentage from iHost. The scenes even work with percentage; for instance at night time they go to 100% automatically.
If you single click the buttons on the blind motors it just does a micro move. If you long press the button it goes all the way to the top or bottom. On the iHost the “open”/”close” commands don’t work as I think they use the single click version, but if the Node Red percentage worked I was just going to set up a Node Red flow where open = 0 and close =100, but I couldn’t do this. iHost scenes dom’t ofen allow same trigger device and effector device so I’ din’t try that there. Also they are an iHost local network so I cant webhook out a webhook in.
We suspect this may be a device compatibility issue.
Could you please provide your system logs and device ID via DM or the feedback channel?
We’ll analyze the specific cause once we have the device information.
Is there any way to shrink the size of the logs? Last time I tried to send them they were huge.
There is a size limit for the logs. Could you let us know the approximate size of your current log file?
If it’s too large, you can always upload it to a cloud storage service such as Google Drive or OneDrive and share the link with us.
69.1MB downloaded. Is that too much for the normal mechanism?
Because large number of devices, the log size has exceeded the limit, and older logs are automatically overwritten once that limit is reached.
As a result, the logs you provided only contain data from yesterday.
However, since the curtain device was not operated yesterday, we couldn’t retrieve its detailed information from those logs.
Could you please try controlling the curtain once, then resubmit the logs?
This will allow us to capture the necessary device data for further analysis.
Does it need to be manually operated? They go up (0%) and down (100%) at about sunrise/sunset so you will see 1 local scene for each blind.
tomorrow morning sunrise is at 7:42am
today 5:48pm is sunset
but it’s BST not GMT till 0200 on the last sunday in October. Don’t know what the logs use.
also do I need to use the blinds with node red so you can see communication between NR and Cube OS? I think maybe Open and Close do something.
at sunset (<100 lux) it automatically closed. Turned off the automation and opened manually about half way. Then ran it in Node Red with “close”. it does this but the opposite of what you say and the opposite to what is shown in the iHost main display. It knows it is Open. NB the open/close does nothing in the main menu but % works. Will PM the logs.
We’ve reviewed the new logs, and as before, the large number of devices has caused the log to only include data from the past three hours. As a result, it naturally doesn’t contain any records of the scene-triggered device.
Could you please manually control the curtain once, then immediately download and submit the corresponding system logs? That will help us capture the relevant data for analysis.
You can try operating the curtain multiple times—open, close, and adjust the percentage to test different actions. If you don’t mind, it would be even better to delete the device and add it again.
For some reason my router went haywire. Even reinstalling it back to June didn’t mend it. Had to delete the entire Policy Based Routing service which has been working since June. Anyway will do this tomorrow. Percentage only works on iHost but open/close triggers s small motion on the iHost but a big opposite motion in NR., although the picture in iHost ia correct As it mostly works on the iHost do you want me to try and use NR Open/Close?
You don’t need to control it through NR—controlling it directly on iHost will be sufficient.
Hello, our technical team is still waiting for your system logs.
If you don’t have time to provide them, could you at least share the brand and model of the device? With that information, we can also proceed with further investigation.
Sorry, Policy Based Routing broke three times so I have had no internet. Just PM’d a log. This time open/close work in reverse of percentage.
incidentally called “Front Gym Blind” now and then 3.
