Manual scene enabling other auto scenes doesn't work

So, this reply will be long, bare with me.
I tried posting in another place but found this thread more relevant.

I was convinced that the Sonoff ecosistem will be the best choice out there. I bought around 20 TX Ultimate and installed around the house. I bought 3 4CHs PRO R3s to automate heating and yesterday the NSPanel PRO.

Back to the topic.

The plan was to have 4 zones by 2 floors of underfloor heating and one 4ch for boiler, 2 pumps and one hot water recirculating pump. So far so good.

I created automated scenes. Sadly they work only if I trigger manually the heating zone relays. The idea was to control the boiler and pumps depending on the actuators (if heatings zones are active). So if I activated first floor zone 1 then wait 3 minutes then activate the pump and boiler. If I turn off then check if all zones are off then turn off if not then keep (all conditions must be respected).

So far if ok, I’m controlling the heating trough app and is worked fine. BUT.

I bought the NS panel PRO. I wanted the zigbee, to add some sensors me having only wifi devices until now. After tinkering around, I found out that YOU CANT break the 4CHs IN SEPARATE TILES. I want the experience with the NSPanelPRo to be easy, simple, not to navigate tons of pages and folders. So then I start to create manual smart scenes, the only way I had to get around this and have individual buttons. But guess what. The manual scenes doesn’t trigger the automated scenes as it should, or at least it works halfway.

Manual scene ON Zone 1

IF
On tap

THEN
• Relay zone 1 - ON (is on a 4 ch #1 )
• Zone pump ON (automated scene to activate the pump that have 3 min delay) (is on another 4 ch #2)
• Boiler ON (automated, is on the same 4 ch #2 as the pumps)

(i) This manual scene one works ok. But I cant reverse it because:

Manual scene OFF Zone 1

IF
On Tap

THEN
• Relay zone 1 - OFF (is on a 4 ch #1 )
• Zone pump OFF (auto scene checking if all zones are off then pump relay off)
• Boiler OFF (auto scene checking if all zones are off then pump boiler off)

Here is the fluke. If I deactivate the relay manually, the autoscenes worked as planned. But if I put the autoscenes to be triggered into a manual scene they won’t work. I places delays hoping being a refresh issue but is not from that. And yes, first time I tried without ZONE PUMP OFF and BOILER OFF because they suppose to work(trigger) AUTOMATED when the Relay zone is OFF.

So here I am. Because a simple feature (relays shown as separate tiles) I overcomplicated something that should have been easy and fun… By the way, this applies For 1,2 or 3 CH TX Ultimates also. At this point I’m asking myself why I bought 4CH insead of 4 separate 1CHs…

Conclusion:

  1. Please have the option so see s separate tiles on NSPanel PRO
  2. [CRTICAL] Please check the how the AUTO scenes work related to manual scenes, or at least help us find a way around.

I spend a lot of money trying to implement a Sonoff smart house and I had plans to continue (sensors, low security and other automations) but at this point I thinking stall it for the time being because is complicate my life instead of make it simple…

On the bright side, the products look and works superb. And the Ewelink app is amazing (fixing the bove issues will make it stellar!)

Sorry for the long post…

Somewhat later edit -
Just bought an SNZB-02P and add it into NPP’s zigbee hub. Now the thermostat function is active. I created a schedule and played a little.
THE PROBLEM. The thermostat function (Or is NPP?) trigger one relay (bedroom) but doesn’t trigger the automated scene wich supposed to activate the boiler and the pump.
I found the stupid idiotic solution to create 2 thermostats based on the same sensor with the same schedule that kindly work. One for zone relay(on to a 4ch) and one for pump and boiler(on another 4 ch). And now try to imagine duplicate this on 8 zones. By lots of users. Will blow up servers.

  1. Why can’t just make it -at least- possible to ad second trigger devices if the Auto Scenes are buggy?
