MAC address change?

I had a problem with a node red connection to homebridge today. When I set it up I had to use a mac address to get a successful connection. Node red and homebridge are both running on the ihost. It’s been running successfully for 6+ months but failed this morning.

I noticed the mac address of the ihost was different from the original one that I had setup in the homebridge connection. I updated it to the mac address shown on the ihosts setting page and got a successful connection.

Question : Does the ihost mac address change ?

do you have Wi-Fi enabled in ihost. If ihost connects via Wi-Fi then it has a different Mac address than the Ethernet connection.

No, that was my first thought as well but I’ve not enabled wifi.

MAC address is stable unless you enable wifi, then you’ll have 2 mac address.
