Hi all!! After upgrading my IHOST to EWeLink cube 2.14.0 the Matter service is not working. I deleted all connected fabricks and when I try to pairing, it says “Failed to respond. Try again later”. Anyone with the same problem? Any way to solve it?
give more details please about your network and controller that you using to connect ( google home , alexa , smartthings )
Hi,
Thanks for the fast response.
It is not a matter of Alexa. what is not working is the Matter Bridge of iHost. When I am in the pairing screen to generate the QR or code, are not generated and an error is displayed saying “Failed to respond, try again later”. I have tried to reboot the iHost but the issue remains. I dont know if there is any issue in the eWelink Cube 2.14.0 about the Matter Bridge service.
Thanks for clarifying. Could you please share which Docker containers are currently running on your iHost? This may help us identify if another container or service is interfering with the Matter Bridge.
No need to delete anything, since the other containers are simply not installed. It might be something else causing the issue that isn’t clear yet.
@KwayLi99 , could you please advise regarding this issue?
Hello @laiga20 ,
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I have contacted you via private message. Please provide a copy of the logs so that we can locate the issue as quickly as possible.
We currently have a known issue: an abnormality occurs when using Matter Bridge to sync camera devices on version 2.14.0. This issue has been fixed, and iHost will release the 2.14.1 hotfix tonight to address it. Cube OS will be released next week.
If you have used Matter Bridge to sync cameras after upgrading to 2.14.0, the current abnormality is most likely caused by the issue mentioned above. Once the hotfix is released, I will update you in this thread. You can upgrade to 2.14.1 and verify whether the issue has been resolved.
However, to accurately identify the issue, please still provide the logs as instructed in my private message so that we can investigate further.
We appreciate your understanding and support.
Hello @laiga20 ,
The 2.14.1 hotfix mentioned above has been released. You can now update to 2.14.1.
If the problem persists, please send me your logs via private message so that we can locate the issue as quickly as possible. Thank you very much.
Hi. I uploaded the log files to a @Miao private message. Hope it helps! Thanks for your support!
