iHost Pairing with Current Devices and Remote Access

I currently have dozens of Sonoff devices, from Basic R2 to MiniR4 and a sonoff Zigbee hub. If I add the ihost hub, do I have to repair my devices individually or will they be recognized by the ihost hub effortlessly? Also, will I still be able to access my devices remotely through the ewelink app?

You don’t need to re-pair the devices, please check this instruction to sync the WiFi LAN device from eWeLink APP.

eWeLink Smart Home add-on:

Be sure that the WiFi devices are on the same LAN with iHost.

What is exactly the pairing button on the ihost, because i’ve connected the ihost through lan cable and i can now access it from the website and control my devices but the ihost is always offline in the ewelink app. Should i be pairing the ihost with the ewelink app? plus the road map is not showing up. The only thing appearing is the ihost itself on the map.

The pairing button on iHost is used for pairing ZigBee devices. iHost does not pair with the eWelink application on the phone. iHost is only accessible via the web.

He instalado iHost, soy novato y me he bloqueado con los siguientes problemas, y no puedo avanzar:
el ihost solo lo puedo controlar desde el ordenador y conectado a la misma red wifi, por lo que no tengo información remota de los dispositivos zigbee.
conseguí sincronizar los dispositivos wifi sincronizando, con la aplicación ewelink. pero en la aplicación no aparece el ihost ni los dispositivos zigbee.
por loque solo me queda dar marcha atrás y emparejarlos con el viejo hub de sonoff para volver a tener el control zigbee.

iHost is designed as a local server.
So you need to access it via LAN not WLAN.
If you need to access it remotely, please consider tailscale add-on.

We’re gradually deperecate ewelink ecosystem from iHost, that’s why the iHost in your ewelink app is offline.
We recommend you delete it since it will never go back online.
