Home Assistant hangs a lot V4.6.0

Since 2 updates ago I’m having issue with home assistant app to be unstable. After some time I only see a black screen while the screen is on. Touching it multiple times doesn’t do anything and sometimes the whole system crashes and reboots doing this.

I have reinstalled home assistant app already, but still same behavior and even after updating to 4.6.0 was nog a solution.

So I only use it for HA and now it is almost useless.. that is a bit annoying.

It’s not the Home Assistant app causing this. Version 4.6.0 is the eWeLink Cast app, and that one has known issues with black‑screen freezes and random reboots. HA itself is fine, and the problem is entirely on the Cast side as it seems.

Ok hope they solve it soon.. starts to annoy me that with updates I lose stability.

Hi, could you please submit the NSPanel Pro logs as soon as the issue occurs?
(On the device: Swipe down → Settings → About → Feedback → Submit.)

After that, please send me your device ID separately. I’ll check the logs as soon as they become available.

Also, may I ask approximately how many devices you have in your Home Assistant instance? If you have a large number of devices or a complex dashboard, could you also try using a simpler dashboard layout and see if that improves the issue?

it’s same issue that i described in my other post. While using Home Assistant, after a while it gets unresponsive : just Home Assistant app is open, but no other nspanel background apps are running like wake-on-proximity, or wifi and ewelink connection. Pressing return to home button just restarts the nspanel’s interface, and everything reloads again (some sort of reboot). This issue happens randomly, sometimes after 2 days, sometimes after few hours, sometimes after 5 days. This happens just on NSPanel Pro 120, i have a NSPanel PRO Gen2 and that doesn’t have this issue. @Milk
