I have 4 of these smartplugs and all 4 showed an available firmware upgrade today.
So I triggered the update on one. Went offline, did not come online after a while. Had to powercycle this plug and the BridgeP, now it is online again.
But none of the other 3 can be updated. They show an update is available, but when clicking it only the update changelog shows.
Mine had this update a few days ago. I did it from the Web, and after a long wait, an update error popped up, and the S60 disappeared and acted as if dead. I didn’t touch it for about 5-10 minutes, and suddenly it came back to life with the new firmware.
I did try the update and it showed the update process and finished the update. But the device still shows 1.0.2 and still shows there’s an available update.
I tried a few times but same result. Shows the update being processed until 100% then shows I am still on V 1.0.2
I bought 2 of these plugs today, and tried to update and i get exactly same issue as CrazyK . @Milk Both plugs are connected to NSPanel Pro, firmware 4.4.0.
I had tried to leave it for more than 30 mins, and when i go back to the app it is still on the 1.0.2 version. I had unplugged an plugged back in and it’s still no change. Tried again later, but still no luck on updating.
Later edit:
I had disconnected it from NSPanel and I could successfully update the iplug to 2.0.2 using Home Assistant via zigbee2mqtt. For sure the issue is when updating it via the NSPanel.
The issue where some firmware versions cannot be upgraded on NSPanel Pro 4.4.0 is a known problem. We have fixed it and expect the fix to be included in version 4.4.6. Thank you for your feedback.
May I ask @CrazyK , are the sub-devices also connected under the NSPanel Pro?
Hi @Milk , just out of curiosity, has the firmware update been retrieved for the S60ZBTPF ? Just bought 1 more plug today, and came with firmware 1.0.2, but when checking for update via zigbee2mqtt it states that it’s on the latest version. The other 3 i had were updated to 2.0.2 via zigbee2mqtt. Thanks in advance.
Hi @Milk , i know that there is an issue to update the plug via nspanel, i had reported it myself, but what I was saying now is that firmware 2.0.2 for iPlug is missing from zigbee2mqtt. Now the latest firmware for iPlug on z2m is 1.0.2.
Sorry, I misunderstood earlier. I have confirmed with the S60ZBTPF person in charge. Due to issues reported by users with version 2.2.0, which are still being resolved, Z2M has temporarily removed the deployment of this version. It is expected to be re-released once the fixes are completed.
