If you create a scene in the eWeLink app (or eWeLink Web), it is executed in the cloud. There is no other option, as scenes are not stored and executed locally. So how is R5 supposed to work without access to the cloud? In the app, it is not possible to associate any of the R5 channels with anything on the device of which it is a subdevice. If you believe otherwise, take a screenshot and post.
@Jam3, I indeed believe otherwise and already had posted the screen capture and all the failure test scenarios already, all here in the same thread.
As far as I know (and verified by testing), SCENES can run in 3 places. Either in cloud as usual, also on EWELINK GATEWAY devices and on ZB Bridge PRO. These last 2 only to a very limited extent. (simple SCENES, certain devices)
M5 is neither a gateway nor anything close to ZBBridge Pro. When it’s disconnected from the eWeLink cloud, how can a scene for R5 channel be executed?
M5, Mini R4, NS Panel and Dual R3 are all EWELINK GATEWAY devices that can run local scenes with R5 or S-Mate. If you want to keep believibg the earth is flat, good for you…
Is it not flat?
