Hi eWeLink Community,
Resolved
Newly Resolved Since V2.3.2
-
Optimized the color picker for RGB lights so you can easier to select color in the corner. Selecting a color in the corner, like red, will no longer result in a nearby color, like pink.
-
Blank Zigbee Topology: We’ve cleared a rendering issue where the Zigbee Topology displayed as empty due to nodes with multiple parent nodes simultaneously.
-
Missing Nodes in Zigbee Topology: Parent nodes should now display normally on the topology; they were previously filtered out due to their “unknown” device type.
-
Updated mechanism to handle large requests from the new docker and add-on components. This should resolve occasional disconnections between the web UI and iHost.
-
SNZB-03 Detection: We’ve extended device matching rules so more white label models like SNZB-03 should properly display sensor readings and device information.
-
SONOFF TRVZB: Fixed an issue where the schedule was empty, and the automatic mode could not be switched for the SONOFF TRVZB.This was due to incomplete or slow reporting from the device.
-
Aqara Opple Wireless Scene Switch: Fixed the false ability mapping where the device with 4 buttons was recognized as having 6 buttons.
-
Some date and time options in scenes might not be available for users in the UTC +0 time zone.
Previously Resolved Since V2.3.0
-
Reversed Color Temperature: We’ve resolved the issue with Zigbee lights, including certain IKEA models, where color temperature was inaccurately represented due to a different metric used by these light makers, resulting in reversed outcomes.
-
Malfunctioning TRVZB: The device was whitelisted and handled by the legacy Zigbee component due to the extra features it provides. Immigration causes some unexpected behaviors. The new patch fixed Auto mode and smart scheduling, along with a bug that could cause a blank schedule after upgrading to V2.3.0.
-
Backup Failures: We’ve addressed conflicts in rare conditions that were causing backup failures for some users, which originated from add-on data links.
-
Zigbee Component Failure: A fix is in place for the Zigbee component failure that resulted in loss of control over Zigbee accessories and a running red indicator on the iHost.
-
Tile2CUBE-WeatherAPI: The add-on should now be able to obtain access tokens from the CUBE system and function correctly after the update.
-
Historical Energy Consumption: The patch fixed unmatched records and false data returns. Certain devices now correctly show their energy consumption graph.
-
Matter Bridge: After backups, devices exposed to Apple Home, Google Home, and Alexa via Matter should work now without a reboot.
What’s in Work:
- Some 2-ch Tuya switches report 3 channels without complete information to eWeLink CUBE causing related features to malfunction. Our team is working on a workaround to improve compatibility including Matter Bridge for such modified devices.
What’s to Clarify:
-
As for TRVZB, there are still some issues from the device side, like incomplete reporting. We have contacted the vendor for further optimization.
-
Devices exposed to Matter platforms would go offline if you backup and restore between different units. This was due to the security requirement of Matter specification.
What’s Pending:
We need more information and effort on these issues to proceed with fixes:
-
Certain Tuya devices go offline or respond slower than expected. More feedback and logs would help us to capture the common cause.
-
Control failures with devices synced via the eWeLink add-on post-upgrade: Some users may use tools to modify files or there are potential issues with the SD cards. They could cause data corruption and malfunction. Our team will collect more information to navigate the cause.
-
Add-ons stopping after upgrades, needing a reboot of iHost; Initial investigation assumes there were issues with SD cards. We will try to collect the specifications of these cards for further work.
With the release of V2.3.4, we’re addressing the feedback received from our valued community. We appreciate your continued support and understanding as we diligently resolve these remaining issues. Our commitment to improving the eWeLink CUBE experience remains steadfast, and we will keep you updated on our progress. Thank you for your patience.
