Thank you Sonoff Team for these updates. Just an early observation regarding the ver 1.4.0 firmware update for TRVZB which introduces ‘Boost’ and extra ‘Schedule’ functions. I notice that when TRVZB Boost is activated the target temperature is set to 35 deg C but the valve open % remains as set. For example if the TRVZB open % for normal running is set to 20% it will remain at 20% when ‘Boost’ is active. I would have thought that if an area is required to be Boosted quickly it would be logical to have the valve set its open % to a higher or 100% while ‘Boost’ is active.
I also notice that the ‘Boost’ and extra ‘Schedule’ buttons are not presented on the iHost Cast pane for the device. It means that the ‘Boost’ function can only be used after signing in to the iHost Main Screen or creating virtual switches with scenes to activate ‘Boost’. I think that it would make the feature more user friendly and be a more elegant solution if at least ‘Boost’ could be added to the device Cast pane.
I don’t know if I’m the only one experiencing this, but there’s an existing bug in eWeLink CUBE 2.7.0 that’s carried forward to eWeLink CUBE 2.8.0: if you restart iHost, the set scenes don’t execute until you disable and re-enable them. ![]()
Haven’t experienced this but have noticed that when the iHost re-boots after a software update all of my node-red virtual switches show as ‘off-line’ and the node-red docker app has to be re-restarted.
