The device status is not updated if the “app cast” is in sleep state - it switches to the clock screensaver. If the “cast” panel is awakened, the status changes almost instantly.
There are no problems with the network. The wifi signal is good and stable.

having a reset button is half the battle. It is necessary that the page itself restarts when the cast is awakened, in order to minimize the number of manual manipulations. Thanks for the quick response!!!

We aimed to fix it with a better way, which is the CAST devices will call the server positively and get the status synced in seconds when it’s awakened, we do have thought to put a refresh/reload button somewhere on the page honestly, but, it’s not elegant and natural, so we put the idea on side unless it’s the only way after we tried.
Alternatively, you can reload the cast by swiping down, as is done, for example, in the google chrome browser to refresh the page

Hi, if I can give my opinion I think it is much better to have an update synchronize the status when it is activated
Today I updated Cast and saw what’s new, if it were possible it would be nice to be able to put the time in 24H mode not only in the screen saver but also in the clock positioned in the dashboard. On this occasion I renew my request to be able to have a background of a single color and not to fade. Thank you

Now I don’t have to re-open the page to reload and this is a plus, but with the new update I lost quick access to the panel, I have to wait about 5 seconds until the page loads and I can control the devices. And since I often open the door from the cast panel, this brings great inconvenience!!! It is necessary that the page be updated, but the ability to quickly access devices is not lost. Until you figure out how to solve this, it’s better to return everything as it was!!!
Oh, Jonniugr, sorry to know that, but the loading time is vary depending on the tablet’s performance and network conditions, we are trying to optimize the connection strategy to find a better path in terms of loading speed and the time it takes to get the full device status, maybe we will put a refresh button/pull down to refresh manually, still compare different ways to balance.
Time widget 24H mode is expected to be available in next update, as well as custom background (enter pic url) .

Glad to hear different update methods are being considered. For my part, I inform you that the xiaomi pad 5 tablet was purchased primarily for the cast panel half a year ago, and a couple of additional games were installed. So the RAM is loaded to a minimum. The router is located 5 meters from the tablet, so the wifi signal is normal. I have an ewelink connection with macroDroid to receive push notifications. When the doorbell rings, the gDMSS PLUS program opens to view surveillance cameras, after which I can open the door lock. And due to a sufficiently large delay, access to opening the doors becomes more difficult.

The panel page itself takes a very long time to load and I lost quick access to devices. Previously, access was instant. Please fix it as soon as possible!!!

In the version of the fixed screensaver, we have also optimized the strategy of refreshing after waking up, and separated the device state refresh separately, which can solve the delay caused by the whole frame refresh to a degree, how’s it going on your side?
