DUALR3 offline always

How many devices are in your router? Is it possible that the number of devices is beyond the router’s capability which may lead to the offline issue as well.

Do you update the firmware to the latest 1.5.2?

In my case, yes I do have 1.5.2 firmware.

Home network base on Unifi and dedicated 2.4ghz WIFI for the Sonoff devices. 3 Devices on this network.

Syslogs are clean, network is perfect. 1Gbps WAN bandwith.

We got feedback from most of DUALR3 users that 1.5.2 has fixed the offline issue, so your case should be further looked into to find out the root cause.

Hello,

I found that when there is an internet outage, all the devices randomly stay offline. They became online only after power cycle them.

This could be related to the internet outage time being longer than 5 min.
I´ve already bind their MAC Address / IP Address in the router, but with the same results.
If its not possible to assign static ip address to the devices themselves, could it be possible to extend the discovery/recovery time the devices take to reacquire internet connection to several hours or infinite?

Thank you.

I don’t think this is the case, in the 2.4 gz I have only IOT stuff and only the 2 sonoff go periodically offline.

Dear eWeLink responsible

I just found problem after upgrade firmware to v.15.2 .
Devices has disconnect in application show devices power off . I can’t do anything. This problem it to big issue because if we remote it from other location that at site that we have to fix it at site. If we stay so far from site.

Same as i found i have only one Sonoff Swith Dual R1 in netwotk . But my problem devices offline after upgrade firmware fron 15.0 to 15.2

Our team just replied to you.

We need to double-confirm the wifi indicator behavior when it is offline. As per the video you sent, when the device becomes offline, the Wi-Fi LED indicator still stays on rather than blinking. It is not what we expected. Please follow the ticket to provide us with further info.

Thanks.

Any news about this… i’m having some issues related 2

Also here, I have a dual R3 that shows offline at eWelink very often.
However it works locally with a paired SMate.
Internet and network connection is absolutelly stable.

Dear all , i solved this problem first by updating to latest version , then i removed the device to sure its fully reset , after that i added the device again to ewelink app and assigned an ip address for the dual r3 at the router page , its been months already and i never face again an offline issue even i do reboot the internet almost every 2 weeks , hope this will help

I was looking for a solution (f.e. …find an hub to solve the problem etc…) when I’ve landed in this discussion. Hi! When you say “then I removed the device…”, you mean removing from the app ewelink? (What model router do you have?).

Yes removed from ewelink app . I use tp link deco router and i got option to reserve the ip address for any device

Thanks. I’ve got a TP link Archer MR600 and I think I’ll do as you.
