Seems not a single add-on’s problem.
We’ll keep digging.
As usual, a new version and new problems. Digging after publication, that is the norm. You don’t learn from your mistakes, guys.
Since I no longer have an iHost, let me ask you about Matter Bridge and Alexa. Is it working at last?
From the log, docker service itself is failed to start.
Did you try reboot iHost?
If reboot is not working, send us a new system log after the reboot.
I have tried reboot a few times. Will do it again and send the log to you via reply to the ticket
Update: Log sent via email against open ticket 204425
@SuiKa - The email admin keeps on rejecting my emails to support - maybe the attachment (15Mb) is too large. How can I send it to you - do not want to post it here as it may contain sensitive info
I will use the feedback function in the iHost and quote the ticket number 204425.
Done - the new ticket number with the log is 204545
Hi, pierred.
What version are you in before you upgrade to v1.13.4?
For now, please try unplug the sd card and reboot iHost.
Wait until reboot complete, then try insert the sd card see if everything back to normal.
I always run the latest, so I was on v1.13.3…
I will try the reboot sequence you suggested… but to be clear, do you want me to unplug and replug while the iHost is powered up? I recall reading somewhere that this could toast the SD card?
Hi, pierred.
Sorry, my expression was a bit ambiguous.
The steps should be as followed:
- power off the iHost
- unplug the sd card
- power up the iHost
- wait for it to be stable(UI, functions, etc)
- replug the sd card
If everything still glitchy, send us the newest system log via feedback.
Thanks for your cooperation.
iHost reponded with “TF cart inserted” and for the last 5 minutes displays
Must I wait or reboot?
IHOST stopped displaying the image from the RTSP camera. On NSPANEL PRO the image is displayed normally.
That is, in short, the full catastrophe. Meanwhile, in the Home Assistant world…
OK - eventually I had to power off. Reinserted the SD card, rebooted, came up, exactly the same state as before. Sent new logs as requested - see ticket 204747
@jam3 - new Pi5 is sitting on my desk…
@SuiKa - Do you have an update for me with a possible course of action? Did you receive the new set of logs you asked for that I sent to you on ticket 204747. Since the v1.13.4 upgrade on 18 March the iHost is not able to start the Docker services and without the ewelink and node-red add-ons it is totally worthless. It is now 8 days. Please let me know soonest if it can be recovered or if I must throw it away and use something else.
Make use of RPI and give your iHost to someone you don’t particularly like
