Controlling valves with NSPanel Pro issue

So I have this setup with 10x Sonoff TRVZB + 2x Temp&Humi. sensors, all added to a Sonoff Bridge Pro. I’ve have created groups of devices and I can control it without issues with the eWeLink app. I’ve just added a NSPanel Pro to this setup using the app, also registered my ewelink account on the device. I can link the temp sensors to the panel, and add the TRVZB:s to my tiles, but here is where things go south.

First of all, the NSPanel doesn’t seem to read the settings or temperature of the valves as I click any of them, they appear to be turned off and reading 0 deg. There is no feedback as I try to control the valves from the panel.

I haven’t joined any devices to the NSPanel directly, since the devices showed up anyway via the bridge. I did try to join a TRVZB to the NSPanel using the gateway tab but was unsuccessful, no device found. Is this required for the NSPanel to control the devices? There’s also a eWeLink-Remote sub-device configuration that I haven’t touch.

Please advice

Is it NSPanel or NSPanel Pro?

NSPanel Pro

You need to unpair or reset a device first. Then try pairing it with NSPanel Pro. Let us know if the readings are available.

I did a factory reset before trying to pair it last time, but I can try again.

I’m supposed to go into NSPanel → Gateway → Add device, right?

Right.

Ok, so I did some more testing last night and I have concluded the following.

My NSPanel Pro can successfully display the ambient temperature and the temp setting of individual valves as well as changing the temp setting, EVEN when the valves are joined to the Bridge. However, it’s doesn’t seem to be able to display any of this with Groups. Changing temp setting works fine (and it’s transmitted to the device), but next time I go into the Group, the setting has been reset again, it doesn’t remember or are able to read the current temp settings.

I also joined the valves directly to the NSPanel Pro, and created new groups, but this doesn’t solve the issues with groups described above.

Groups (of valves) in eWeLink app doesn’t show temperature (not even when they are using the same external temp sensor), so that’s why I guess the NSPanel shows zero temperature when I select a group. However, the current temp setting for group should definitely be there.

I have a very similar configuration to yours and in my experience the TRVZB valves are best managed by NS PANEL PRO. I do the temperature and time slots for valve management from Ewelink and everything works well. I also use external temperature sensors but everything is connected to the PANEL.

Ok, have you ever tried controlling groups of TRVZB:s from the panel?

I only use the panel as a zigbee hub because that’s what worked best. I manage the boiler with a ZBMINIR2 in order to make scenes locally. However, I created a group of valves that are in the same room with a single external sensor. With this solution everything worked best

Yes, but does the panel display the temperature and setting of this group?
