It’s the same hardware.
It’s the same software.
It states works with the ewelink app, which it does.
The only issue I have with it is that it’s only on version 3.4 and doesn’t show any available updates. It did an update when first powered up so it’s connecting to something but being stuck on 3.4 doesn’t give me access to the later features specifically the Home Assistant Web shortcut option.
Brand Name: Aubess

please note that:it is not sonoff NSpanel pro,it is a centrol control panel, use ewelink App

I realise that now, I’d just been browsing the many Aliexpress listing’s for the cheapest one and bought this as it appeared to be the same product. It essentially is other than one feature it’s missing for me as it’s on an older version currently.
The reason for asking if it was possibly a fake is that there are many official posts on here that I’ve seen since the purchase that warn to be on the lookout for fake Sonoff devices, wondered if this was one of them. It doesn’t appear to be, just seems to be some kind of associated manufacturer. You just have to dig into the details on the listing a bit to see it.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy with it, it was half the price of the Sonoff one and I’ll probably buy some more.
I’ve emailed Aubass to see if it’s likely to get any further updates. I’ll post here if they reply.
I doubt it honestly, because AUBESS does not manufacture it. It is unclear from whom the device originated.
By the way, it is surprising with what leniency Sonoff treats copied products. It doesn’t bother anyone at ITEAD. It looks as if some factory/assembly plant is producing the same thing without branding after hours and selling it at half price. If this is profitable, how much could NSPanel Pro really cost?
