I will be posting interesting projects that I have created on this forum. I will go to the first project, the customer wanted to create an automatic watering system for the garden.
I looked at control units like Hunter. Expensive devices but without any intelligent functions.
I bought valves, fittings, 5x sonoff swv-bsp, 2x snzb-05p. I have a customer iHost control unit.
The facilities are located in a garden house.
For the sake of interest, the connection at the very top is used to connect the compressor. So that it is possible to comfortably blow water out of the pipe. So that the pipe does not burst in the winter.
One SNZB-05P sensor is placed next to the pipes and the cable is wrapped around it so that it detects any leaks in the pipes.
The last SNZB-05P sensor is placed under the roof and the cable is brought out of the roof and wrapped around a plastic holder. The purpose of this construction is to determine if it is raining.
Scene settings:
Every other day, it turns on the irrigation shortly after sunrise. Each valve is in automatic mode, where it is set to 25 liter. When it starts to rain, Tal turns off the irrigation for half a day.
You must be careful to have the optimal number of valves turned on at once, otherwise there is a risk that the water pressure will not be strong enough.
I used MPP rotators from Hunter.
