Hello guys. I would like some suggestion for my bathroom. I have a small bathroom with a radiator and a ventilator. What i would like is to install a TRVZB on the radiator and then i would like something to automatically turn on and off the ventilator when i shower. It would also be nice if the TRVZB could get the room temperature from an external sensor too. So i need a temp and humidity sensor and also something i can add on the wiring to the ventilator to make it “smart” so that it can turn on and off automatically following the humidity sensor. Do anyone have a suggestion on what is the easiest way and what to buy?
Use SNZB-02P to measure temperature and humidity. It will also be for TRVZB as an external temperature sensor. You can use MINIR4 or other smart device to make your fan smart. Just remember that then the smart switch must have power all the time. You can make a scene to turn on the fan when humidity is ≥ 60% and another scene with humidity ≤55 turn off with a delay of 5 minutes, which will eliminate the constant turning on and off of the fan to. I have it this way and it works very well.

Since it is a bathroom, you need to be cautious of condensation and protect the switch properly. It can be dangerous in certain circumstances. Other than that, thed3f4ut’s solution is very good.

I have control units for fans in a suspended ceiling and in IP 66 boxes. I canceled and bridged one of the original fan controllers. I have the delay set to 15 minutes. To add manual control I have a portable zbSNZB-01P. I use minir4 for lighting control in combination with a motion sensor. The scene is set so that when there is no movement for 15 minutes the lights turn off.
