An enabled screensaver prevents the NSPanel Pro firmware from being updated

Since the enabled screensaver prevents firmware updates, you might want to consider adding a temporary deactivation procedure. Because if I understand it correctly, when the screensaver starts up, the update is stopped.

There is some progress, though! Despite the screensaver being on, yesterday’s update to version 3.8.0 was visible in the NSPanel Pro menu. However, the eWeLink App and Web continue to have problems reporting availability. It’s like a mystery update—no one knows what it improves or adds, but it certainly breaks something. I guess it’s like getting a box of chocolates with a warning label that says WARNING: May contain unrealistic expectations :sunglasses:

Looks like this information is displayed randomly because in my case there was no such summary of changes. Only brief information on fixing of known bugs. My point is that eventually eWeLink/Sonoff should launch a page with a list of software and firmware changes/fixes. So far it’s pretty much scattered here and there.

I had information on my two panels after selecting the Install button. NSPANEL PRO and NSPANEL PRO 120.

I have not experienced such blessing with mine :raised_hands: :grinning:

It’s not about what does or doesn’t show up on the screen. There are devices without screens or interfaces. I am interested in a webpage with a list of changes. A page that is consistently updated and offers comprehensive information. I think you’d agree that it would be by all means helpful, right?

Exactly. There is a lack of update information. But sonoff is very stingy to provide up-to-date information.
