All devices dw2 wifi with low battery warning

I have twelve DW2 WiFi devices in 3 different houses and all of them have a low battery warning at 2%. I change the batteries and it remains the same on all devices.

End devices do not immediately transmit complete information to the controller. Typically, you may need to wait a few or even several hours for readings such as battery level to be updated, but eventually, they should be refreshed. This behaviour can be considered a normal occurrence. If the update does not take place within a day of replacing the battery, you can try reconnecting your device. If this does not help either, you will need to consider that the device’s firmware is faulty. Then contact the manufacturer and ask for a suggested solution.

Do you have the newer “L” version or the older one?

Old versions of DW2 have a bug and always display the battery level incorrectly.

I have the older, not L version, I bought 4 years before and I never have before any problem untill January.
In the past the battery level was indicated correctly. Believe me, I have been using these devices for 4 years.

I don’t know what to tell you… My old DW2 has always shown the battery level incorrectly and I’ve been using it for a few years now… I stopped paying attention to it.
I don’t see any new FW for this sensor. Maybe something on the ewelink side but I don’t know.

I think I know what the problem is. I think the problem is the EWeLink update. I have tried to log in to eWeLink on my iPad. On the iPad the battery level is full. I have checked the eWeLink version and it is older than my phone. On the iPad version V5.11.0 and on the phone V5.13.0.

Hey

I learned there was an issue with the eWeLink app v5.13.0 on the battery level display, please update to V5.13.1 which shall resolve this.

Oh, that’s very good news. At the moment the V5.13.1 version is not in the AppStore here in Spain but maybe it will arrive soon. I’ll be waiting.

App updates roll out to all available regions and users gradually. Let us know if it works once you have the update.

I confirm that with the new version of the app V5.13.1 battery level is displayed wright again by old DW2 sensors.

I confirm too. I have updated just now it to version V5.13.1 and it is working properly.
Thank you so much!!

In this new release of the APP I found a button “Log” in the “Smart screen” accessed from “Device settings” by clicking on “Smart Scene”. By clicking on it will appear a list of the logs of the scenes related to the device you accessed. I don’t remember this possibility in the old version!
