I have two 4CHPROR3 installed in the same location.
One works flawlessly with no issues.
The other keeps losing its network connection. Sometimes it happens several times in a day. Sometimes it goes several days with no issues. It always reconnects on its own but in the meantime scheduled events or actions are missed.
I have checked for updates and done them all as soon as they are available. I just updated to 3.8.2 this morning.
Is this unit just failing and needs to be replaced? Is there something else I can try to get it working correctly?
Experiencing the similar about all of my 3 devices CK-BL602-W102SW18-01(226) Ewelink WIFI Smart Circuit Breaker 1P+N 16A 20A (firmware 1.2.1).
But NOT experienced it with CK-BL602-SWP1-01(182) eWelink 16A/20A EU WiFi Smart Socket (firmware 1.3.1).
Checked carefully WiFi settings:
specific SSID only for eWeLink devices
transmission protocol fixed to 802.11n
WPA2-PSK
only 2.4GHz / 20 MHz
only the cleanest channel (in my case 11)
permanent IPs
Still, no success.
I suspect, that the firmware of some Sonoff/EweLink devices is buggy, causing some memory leak or buffer overflows while renegotiating with WiFi connection. But cannot approve it due the fact that Sonoff/EweLink firmware is not publicly available, at least I had no success to find it.
