Zigbee Lightbulb issues with eWeLink CUBE 2.3.0

Nice, new update…
But my ZB Light Bulbs have big issues.
Warm & Cold Light control are reversed…
The RGB is completely messed up… if I set it to worm, it goes to RED, neutral light is warm… etc…
They worked perfect before uptdate…
(Various Hornbach Flair Viyu models)

Lost control over ALL Ikea TRADFRI bulb GU10 WS 345lm. They pair, but they do not respond.

This used to be the case with zigbee2cube thing, but this feature is gone, and so is control over my Ikea bulbs. The RGB ikea bulbs do work, from what I gather.

EDIT: ALL my IKEA bulbs are not responding. Yeah… I’m fucked real good now.

this happend before this update with zigbee2cube enabled. But now you can not disable it to repair your bulbs…
If Zigbee2Cube is out of beta testing they remove the option to turn it off…

I’ve lost control over some 25 IKEA bulbs (RGB/CW) They are all Zigbee 3.0 and used to work flawlessly, now they are unresponsive, the Wam/cool white slider is backwards and RGB is completely messed. How the f****** I’m to clear this mess?! I’m f*** desperate! I want my old firmware back!

Hey,

Sorry for the inconvenience. I’m creating a new topic for this issue so our team can better help.

@teo.alex Can you share logs with us?

Please also provide us with the model. I would assume you were using variations of this. HORNBACH 10454471 control via MQTT | Zigbee2MQTT

@wojtek Please download the log and send it to us if re-pairing won’t work. May I ask before the update, how they are pairing? With the Zigbee2CUBE option off?

@ward They used to work fine with ZigBee2Cube OFF, but I had issues when ZigBee2Cube was ON. Now, they all behave as if ZigBee2Cube is permanently ON.

The color temperature slider is completely wrong—warm and cool hues are mismatched.

Additionally, with RGB bulbs in white mode, the 2700k white setting produces orange, and the 4000k white setting gives a blue color.

As for the color mode, it’s basically useless. When set to full RED, where only the red diodes should be active, it shows violet and white instead. The same problem occurs with green and blue. It’s a complete mess. While you can pair them, they’re essentially unusable.

Thank you for your explanation.

We’ve identified the issue with the incorrect color reflection and are currently working on resolving it. In the meantime, may I ask if you are still experiencing unresponsiveness with IKEA lightbulbs or other Zigbee devices?

That used to be the issue in first 30mins after the update, the work relatively stable now.

As IKEA has too many SKUs behind the same models; different firmware may have different behavior. Could we have your iHost logs so we can better diagnose the cause?

Many thanks

Hi. Yes, that kind of bulbs. But they only work without Zigbe2Cube. If Zigbe2Cube was active and pair the devices, there was no control. With Zigbe2Cube off and pair the devices, there was normal control and the devices works fine.
Now I see that some of bulbs are not on ZIgbee Map at all but they work(with reverse controls and scrambled RGB). If I remove a bulb from Ihost and re-pair it, it works in same manner… with scramble controls
I’ve sent the logs via Feedback

Thx! Our team will follow up on your ticket!

Hey everyone,

Thanks for your patience. We’ve figured out the issue with the reserved color temperature control.

A fix for this is rolling out as soon as possible.

As for the RGB lights miscoloring, we haven’t restored/repeated that issue yet. We’ve tested some IKEA and Hue lights with the same color feature but did not spot abnormal behaviors. Our team will continue working on it and will keep you posted on any updates.

Can you post a video? So we can better understand what could go wrong.

We did spot behaviors when you control the color temperature, the RGB picker would move – that’s reported by the lights, iHost just update UI based on the device’s data

Colours chosen on the color picker thing in the ihost GUI do not match those reproduced by the bulb.
As I see it, bulbs have four colour diodes RGBW. When I choose rgb(255, 0, 0) #ff0000, max brightness only RED diodes should be used. That was the case before the update. Now I get pinkish light. (Red, blue?, white for sure)
Basically, what Im experiencing is ALL the problems I had with zigbee2cube turned on without the option to turn it off, when pairing was solid and all the functions worked properly.

Thx for the info.

Also a quick update on the fix - it’s coming as soon as late today for issues including the reversed color temperature

A patch V2.3.2 is available now, which resolves some issues with zigbee lights. As of the RGB color issue, we will keep working. Thx for the patience and help in troubleshooting all along.
