I couldn’t help but notice the drop in update quality—they’ve basically reached Micro***t levels of quality now. Complete disregard for the community, zero product innovation. All of this forced me to start moving all my builds to HA and step away from this community.
I need to deliver functional solutions, not experimental, unfinished devices with alpha updates. Solutions with working heating controls on CubeOS, NSPP, etc., as well as fully functional local automation.
OMG! Home automation is mostly a hobby, not a heroic engineering quest, so dramatic warnings and emotional speeches rarely improve anything. If you want to switch platforms, just do it quietly. Big announcements usually create more suspense than actual results.
And when everything finally works, then it’s a great moment to share your success story. Until that point, mixing eWeLink, Sonoff, CubeOS, NSPP and Home Assistant into one complaint looks less like a technical issue and more like a small theatrical performance - the kind you usually see when someone really wants attention. Probably you’re right, but - no offence = honestly, that sounds like a movie trailer where the hero, after years of suffering, finally discovers freedom. All thanks to switching the platform that runs his relays 
A truly inspiring story of courage, perseverance, and… basic device migration. And of course Sonoff, like any manufacturer, has its own strategy - something people can discuss, but dramatic declarations rarely influence.
Besides, in the vast ocean of home automation, Sonoff devices are already among the most Home‑Assistant‑oriented options, so this ‘punitive’ HA migration would not be nearly as easy in any other circumstances.
