Trvzb scheduling broken

Since DST changes my TRVZBs are not running to the programmed schedule as expected.

Today, Saturday they seem to be running the settings assigned for a Thursday.?

I have tried various battery and full resets, either no change or the problem has recurred.

Hi, I noticed a binding error in every Sonoff scheduler. I actually managed to make every scheduler ignore the set times.

The TRVZB under NSPanel Pro does not yet support automatic DST adjustment. You can try manually modifying one of the schedules to see if it works. If it doesn’t, please submit the NSPanel Pro logs to me promptly. (Top drop-down menu → Settings → About → Feedback → Submit)

I assumed the recent (last year?) DST handling upgrades had this setup covered - I am sure I did nothing last year. The timers seem to be responding in correct time but I can see they are today (Tuesday) running Sunday schedules.

All the TRVZBs in the system are having issues, today (Tue) running Sunday schedules. Seemed to be since DST changes.

I have Identfied this by editing each day schedule for the current time on a TRVZB until I can see the valve temp setting change accordingly.

I have tried: remove a valve from the system, remove batteries from valve, reboot NSpanel, fully reset the valve, then re-add the valve to the system. No change it still thinks it is sunday.

Has your TRV returned to normal operation now? Could you please send me another copy of the logs after restarting your NSPanel Pro? Thank you in advance for your help.

Still same, it is Wednesday and valves are running Monday schedules.

So the problem remains, the TRVZBs are running the wrong day schedules, today Friday running Wednesday schedules. How can this be fixed/reset?

Hello, I’ve reviewed the logs you submitted. I can see that there is indeed an issue with schedule execution, but the logs don’t record the specific cause. Could you please try switching the time zone on your NSPanel Pro (select any different time zone, save and exit, then switch back to your correct time zone)? There is a time zone issue following the start of Daylight Saving Time, and I’m not sure whether it might be affecting the TRV schedule execution. If your schedules still don’t run properly after switching the time zone, please submit the NSPanel Pro logs promptly.

You have this problem with the planner on all products. I gave you the effort to investigate it.

I have tried switching time zones and rebooting the panel, and restarting a TRV, no changes, today Monday running Saturday schedules so consistently 2 days off.

I also tried messing with the date and time on the panel to around the DST change times with no improvement.

There must be a way of reseting the TRVs to the correct day, assuming the DST change issue is what knocked them all out a few days?

In review, since the UK DST change 29 March all the TRVZBs on my setup started running the schedules from 2 days earlier, so today Tue 21 April they are running Sunday schedules.

I reported a bug in the scheduler that does not handle the transition to summer and winter time (and vice versa).
There are other bugs such as:

  • The scheduler is not treated by power outage ports.
  • The scheduler does not verify whether the process is running.
  • The scheduler strangely updates the time, probably via NTP.

There are many bugs and the worst thing is that these bugs are in every device
