Sonoff SNZB-01P (smart button) triggering on its own

I have recently added a Sonoff SNZB-01P (smart button) to my setup and have noticed some unexpected behaviour.

The device appears to function correctly and registers Single, Double & Hold clicks correctly and triggers automations.
However, the automation that is liked to this switch is triggering on its own, when the button has not been pressed.

When I look at the activity log for this device it reports the last action on the button causing the automation to run.
