Sonoff NS Panel Pro with Phillips HUE PIR sensor

Hi,

I want to control outdoor lights, but the Sonoff sensors are not weatherproof enough for the British weather, so I tried pairing a Phillips HUE outdoor Zigbee PIR sensor with my NS Panel Pro.

The device is recognised as a sensor, but I can’t control lights with it - it doesn’t seem to detect movement.

So, quetions…

  1. Is the HUE outdoor sensor compatable with the NS Panel Pro Zigbee bridge, and if so, how do I get it to control smart scenes

  2. Can it be made to work by adding a Hue bridge?

  3. If it won’t work, what outdoor sensors are people using to avoid water ingress into the sensors?

As a side thought - Sonoff - why not develop a weather proof sensor?

Thanks
