Sonoff CAM-S2 & MiniR4

Hello
I have a Sonoff CAM-S2 camera in my basement and it is working just fine during the day. When motion (movement) is detected camera triggers an alarm and push notification is sent.
My apartment is on the second floor so ufortunatelly I dont hear CAM-S2 alarm and when i sleep I even dont hear notification as well…
therefore I would like to trigger doorbell as additional alarm
I have bought Sonoff MINIR2 but have a problem making a scene…
What I would like to achieve:

  • two conditions required at the same time:
    CAM-S2 + time of the day (11p.m. ->7a.m.)
  • action
CAM-S2 triggers an alarm AND trigers MINIR2 (doorbell)
How to set up this second condition named “time of the day”
I can only set ON time 11p.m. or set OFF time 7a.m. but how make my scene working between those hours?
    Thank You for any suggestions…

Hi there, you can set an effective period for scene, plus there’s a limit on the server side. The time range can not cross 24:00. So you need to split it into two scenes like:
IF CAM-S2 motion detected
THEN MINIR2…
effective period: 23h00min to 23h59 min

IF CAM-S2 motion detected
THEN MINIR2…
effective period: 00h00min to 07h00 min

Thank You…
I can`t believe i missed that
I will test this next few days and let know if it works properly…

I found different solution in CAM-S2 settings (motion detection in selected period of time )

You mentioned " when i sleep I even don t hear notification as well…" did you set a sleep mode or similar one, and set don’t receive notifications during the period?

Sorry, I need to correct my earlier statement.
For the normal scene, the time range can cross 24:00.

I`m not sure what You are asking… so:

  • Yes. I have “do not disturb” mode set on my phone between 11p.m and 7a.m.
  • No I don`t have “sleep” mode set on camera

I’m not saying set sleep mode to camera, cause they don’t have
Usually, “do not disturb” mode on phone will silence notifications. I attached a screenshot for reference.

Sure it has…

oh really sorry for the confusion
