Hello,
On the CAM-B1P, the “Night Vision” option can be changed to
Infrared, White Light, or Smart Night Vision.
I’d like to disable night vision completely because the streetlight is sufficient and provides the best image.
Is it possible to add an option to completely disable night vision when selecting which night vision we want?
Thanks in advance.
Thank you for your feedback. We agree that this feature option is necessary. Considering we still have some other ongoing work, we plan to launch this feature in Q1 next year. Please stay tuned!

What if you added a scheduler for patrol mode and a scheduler for night light. It’s sad that you present a good product, but the missing essentials ruin
Glad to hear this is being implemented.
It would also be interesting to make those night-vision switches accessible in the eWeLink web application/iHost and Home Assistant.
That way, we can do whatever we want with scenes and automations, giving this wonderful camera almost endless functionality.
Dear Jojkoba,
Every new product has its infancy
I’m one of the first users of Sonoff products, along with the eWeLink app.
It’s been a long road to get to where we are today. I’m not just referring to the number of Sonoff products that has increased over the years, but also to the software.
The eWeLink app has improved enormously over the years, giving many hardware products a boost.
A good example is the iHost.
As the first user of this local server, I have to admit that it was essentially unusable at the time.
Over time, it has been continuously improved, and thanks to all the users, it is now fully usable as a local server, and I see more and more features with each update.
I’m also thinking of the implementation of Matter.
Besides the eWeLink app, I also mean the web version of eWeLink with the Cast function.
In my experience, many new Sonoff products offer the basic functionality.
It’s wonderful to see how the functionality of each product, along with questions, comments, suggestions, and tips from us users, grows over time.
I suggest that you simply mention any features you’re missing in a product to the eWeLink technical staff and/or mention them in this forum.
This way, we, as users, can contribute to further development and expansion, while also creating a positive experience for ourselves.
Regards,
Alfred Vossen
That’s what I do, I give suggestions. I try to bring good ideas, but also criticism. Personally, I consider Sonoff to be very high-quality products. I recognize that they are improving their products.
Some things are unfinished, but I wrote what we as a community are missing.
