CAM-B1P – Severe ghosting, stuttering live view, playback issues & night vision cannot be disabled

Hello, I would like to report a serious issue with the Sonoff CAM-B1P. In live/online view the image is heavily ghosted and stuttering: when a moving object appears, it remains on the screen multiple times even after it has already left the scene, and the live image freezes every 2–3 seconds. While rotating the camera, the image often breaks apart and becomes very choppy. During playback the ghosting is not present, but the recording still stutters and jumps, and every ~2 seconds a “No recording” message pops up even though the recording clearly exists. I initially assumed this was a network issue and even bought a new router, but the problem remains; I also tested fixed Wi-Fi channels 1, 6 and 11 with no improvement. Another issue is that night vision cannot be fully disabled – only white light or infrared light can be selected, but I need neither. In its current state the camera is basically unusable, which is very disappointing. Is a firmware update planned that addresses these issues?

Quick follow-up:
I’m just curious if anyone else here is actively using the Sonoff CAM-B1P.
Does the live view work properly for you? Are there any ghosting or stuttering issues?
I’d love to hear if it’s working fine for other users.

I need the option to completely turn off the lighting at night. I don’t need infrared or white light to any degree, or even smart switching for the CAM-B1P and CAM-PT2 cameras! At the moment, when mounted behind glass, they are useless.
