I haven’t noticed this. I suspect it is something related to the wifi network.

Realised I have hardware that makes it easy to monitor the iHost’s Ethernet traffic. Maybe try instead a wifi sniffer such as

incidentally have you checked the eWeLink account is still signed in? Mine occasionally forgets the credentials: usually on a firmware update.
