👨‍💻‍【Release Note】eWeLink CUBE V2.8.1/V2.8.0 on iHost Update

The scenario is as follows: I enter a floating-point number, and it tries to convert it to an integer. The device detects the error, sets itself to a 00°C setpoint, and then displays 0°C. I tried inputting it via Node-RED to see if it was a Cube Cast issue, but the same thing happens; it doesn’t accept floating-point temperatures, it always has to be integers.

Besides that, it doesn’t display the setpoint temperature, neither in automatic, no-frost, nor manual mode, and when I press the button on Cube Cast, the thermostat goes into hibernation mode (the device’s screen turns off).

I hope that’s clear, best regards and thank you.

Dear customer
Have a nice day!
Hope my email finds you health and wealth.
This is Peter with Moes and I am here to serve you. Thanks so much for your email.

After consulting with engineers in the engineering department,
I received the following information: “The step size controlled by the app is 1℃,
while the step size controlled by the device is 0.5℃.”

I hope this information is helpful.

Thanks so much for your precious time and kindness.

When will the matter bridge, which the latest update broke, be fixed?

Without the matter bridge, my smart home system is useless, as is the iHost.

If you have no idea how or when it will be fixed, at least let us roll back to v2.7 so we can have working systems again.

These two screenshot videos show the issues relating to setting TRVZB ‘Boost’ from a scene and CAST not showing correct information. Ticket ID256850 has been raised.

Camera stream from iHost not working in remote cast.

I created categories and added scenes to them. When I change the options in the menu, the page sometimes remains blan. And must refresh.

@SuiKa , @KwayLi99 When will Matter Bridge be fixed?
This is a very important feature. We need it urgently.

When will the fix update be.

Thanks for this update, the label feature is very useful

With the latest update, my RTSP camera isn’t working. I’ve deleted it and re-linked it, but it won’t connect. Is anyone else experiencing this?
The best thing to say is if it indicates that it is online because it changes the access status on ihost, but it does not transmit video, on the contrary on eWelink it works on the camera perfectly.

Have you submitted any useful information (such as screenshots or system logs) through the feedback?

We performed a preliminary analysis of the logs.
Could you delete the device with ID 23588a70-2a8a-495d-9ec1-daa4ed880778, then restart your iHost to see whether this resolves the issue?

I’ve sent a form and I’m leaving an image for you to see.

We still need the system logs to identify the issue.
Please upload the relevant logs through the feedback and provide us with the corresponding ticket number, and we will diagnose the problem as soon as possible.

Is this warning still appearing?
Does refreshing the page or restarting the iHost make it disappear?

Hi @SuiKa

I removed the POWR320D device ( serial_number ":“23588a70-2a8a-495d-9ec1-daa4ed880778”,“third_serial_number”:“1001d4cca1”) from the ewelink smart home add-on.
I restarted the ihost. The error was not fixed.

I removed all devices from the ewelink smart home add-on. I restarted the ihost. The error persists.

Then it’s not the device issue we initially suspected. Could you upload the latest logs to your existing ticket? We’ll review them to determine the actual cause of the problem.
Additionally, after upgrading to 2.8.0, did you add any new devices?
Or did all devices synced to the Matter platform immediately show as unsupported right after the 2.8.0 upgrade?

Hi, @ociepa.ekotox

We’ve found it quite difficult to determine the root cause from the logs you’ve provided so far. At this point, the fastest way to diagnose the issue is for you to back up your iHost and share the backup file with us. By restoring your environment on our side, we can pinpoint the problem directly.

You can rest assured that none of your iHost’s private information will be disclosed. The backup will be used solely for troubleshooting and for no other purpose.

If you’re uncomfortable with this approach, we can certainly continue exploring alternative methods to identify the issue.

The problem with the Matter Bridge appeared right after the v2.8.0 update. Devices kept appearing and disappearing.
The entire iHOST is offline in the SmartThings Hub, Matter, and Home Assistant.
I re-added the iHOST Matter Bridge to SmartThings. During pairing, the iHOST is displayed as an uncertified device.
The iHOST Matter Bridge. After adding it to SmartThings, all devices are offline in the Matter SmartThings Hub.

OK.
I’ll make a backup of the iHOST
