Regarding the iOS 18 Widget of eWeLink
Hey guys, we’ve seen your feedback about the widgets not working on iOS 18, and we get the frustration. As you may know, iOS 18 was only officially released on the 16th. During the beta phase, there were a lot of changes, so we held off on development to avoid issues. But no excuses, we’re coding on it.
Here’s the good news: v5.10 is coming around September 26, bringing back the Manual Scene Widget for your scenes (including shared ones). Then, in v5.11 (around November 23), we’ll add the Device Control Widget so you can control devices and view details. iOS 17 or iOS 18 required, with up to 8 scenes/devices.
Plus, on iOS 18, you’ll be able to move widgets around—home screen and Today View.
Thanks for your patience—updates are coming soon!
