Hello,
I’m new here and I’m starting with the ihost, I have a problem adding temperature sensors, is there any limitation regarding this device?
So far I have linked all types of devices perfectly, I managed to link a temperature sensor model SNZB-02D, I have tried to add another sensor of this same model and it has not been possible, I have also bought the SNZB-02P model and it does not link with the ihost either, could someone tell me what the problem is.
thanks
There is not such limitation.
Can you send us the model and brand of the problematic device?
And also send us the system log, via message or feedback.
The number of Zigbee end devices (battery operated) that can be connected to the same controller depends on the specific controller and its configuration. Generally and in theory, a Zigbee network can support up to 32 end devices directly connected to the controller. However, this number can be increased by adding mains-powered devices that act as routers.
thx for the answer.
think I should write a wiki on this, it’s been asked a lot recently.
@PacoCC If you happen to be in this case, please add router devices before you try to add new battery-powered devices. That’s a limitation of Zigbee tech. If not, please kindly send logs to @SuiKa
In the evenings instead of watching TV? Of course you can!
no way, Im having a honeymoon with my new Google TV
Let’s just hope your bride doesn’t turn out to be predictable and boring
Thanks Suika,
The model is Sonoff SNZB-02D and Sonoff SNZB-02P
Excuse my ignorance, the log you need is the one downloaded from settings??, I see that there are many log files, which one do you need cube.log??
Thanks
Hi,
Now my network is like this
After trying many times to add the temperature sensors, I have managed to add other SNZB-03 type sensors and some SNZB-01 buttons, with the latter I have had no problems.
Hi,
Thanks, tonight I will add another SNZB-06P to expand my zigbee network and I will try to see if it is possible to add the temperature sensors, although I have managed to add other sensors without problem.
