Presence/ Motion sensor

Hi everyone,

I have some Sonoff devices running on eWeLink and I need to know if there is any Wi-Fi presence/motion sensor compatible with eWeLink that I can use to prevent a device from turning on when someone is present.

The logic I need is:

If presence is detected → do NOT activate the Sonoff device.

In addition, if you know a compatible Wi-Fi sensor, could you also explain how to create an automation/routine in eWeLink that works together with the sensor and my Sonoff device?

Something like:

Sensor detects presence → block/skip the action

No presence detected → allow the Sonoff device to turn on

The solution could include Alexa and smart cameras

Any recommendations or examples of how to configure this in eWeLink would be very helpful.

I have just tried using Alexa and smart camera to turn off the sonoff device, but it has a delay. It doesn’t work.

Maybe there is a wifi presence sensor but the thing that immediately comes to mind is the RF Motion sensor and RF hub. Will the person present be moving or still?

I can’t recommend a device that’s Wi-Fi and compatible with eWeLink.

If Wi-Fi isn’t absolutely necessary, then perhaps the Sonoff SNZB-06P or SNZB-03P if it’s supposed to be a typical infrared sensor.

Scenes could be created for this to work.

The other devices to be controlled are not Zigbee but WiFi sonoff.

Pretty sure there is a Radio Frequency motion sensor from Sonoff that can be paired to the Sonoff RF Hub that works over wifi. Maybe this would do?

You could use motion to disable the other scene for 5 minutes or so on.

Meross Matter over wifi sensor, and shelly gen 4 presence sensor. But you need eWeLink Matter Hub.
