NSPanel Weather Forecast: Now Brought to You by the Art of Random Refreshing!

For several days now, NSPanel seems to have developed a creative approach to fetching the local weather forecast—namely, not doing it, or refreshing at time intervals that are best described as ‘whenever it feels like it.’ The data is clearly available, because a good old-fashioned power cycle magically fixes the issue. But let’s be honest, constantly unplugging and rebooting is not an acceptable feature—it’s just a highly inconvenient workaround. Maybe, just maybe, it’s time to actually fix this?
Perhaps it would make sense to let users set how often the data is fetched and from which source? After all, it works much better on NSPanel Pro—though the source seems different. Consistency… is that too much to ask?

I suppose you were luky enough to be able to set your own city.
I cannot select mine nor anyone else in the radious of 50 Kilometers… the closest one is in another country!
