Does anyone know of a way to reboot the NS Panel without taking it off of the wall, I replaced my router and now some of my switches are not staying connected to the NS Panel, the switches are fine that still work from the app and my NS Panel pro. But the NS Panel loses them overnight.
When I reboot it they show back in the widget panel and work as normal, but the next morning they are showing as not connected and unresponsive until the panel is rebooted.
BTW it took me 4 tries to get the NS Panel to connect to the new router even though it’s only 6 feet away it only shows a week signal on the display.
Would it not be simplest just to turn all the power to the house off at the electicity fuse board or if you know which circuit it is to just turn that circuit off.
There might be radio interference, as you just replaced the router, have you tried another Wi-Fi channel for better performance. Some ch would be disturbed by Zigbee/Thread or other device running on 2.4GHz
What material is the wall box made of? Is the wall made of bricks, or is it something else? It is not only the distance from the router that determines signal reliability.
Let’s just say if my arms were a little longer I could touch the router, another words when I look up I can see it there in the same space, no walls between them
I don’t know why but the ewelink phone app was not showing an update for the NSPanel, but the web app did show one so I did the update on the NSPanel rebooted both the router and panel and it stayed online for two days and now it’s off line again, I don’t know why so I’m just going to install a zbminil2 and set HA to reboot the NSPanel when ever it goes off line. Guess it’s all that can be done for now.
I have a NSPanel pro on the wall in my living room and like it for the thermostat function that runs my gas fire place and my ceiling fans, but for the hallway I like the tactile buttons for the 2 hall lights that can be easily turned on and off in the dark if needed, so ya I don’t know if it’s just an issue with the panel all of a sudden it just started after my I installed the new router.
