This is totally subjective usage example which most of my friends did not come across yet.
I have two kids (lvl 1.5 and 4.5). I needed a nightlight for both to check on them just in case. Most of you may know that red light does not wake you up as a regular one does so the idea is to place a motion sensor tied to a socket with random light (bulb, 1W, red LED). I am using ZB sensor + ZB bridge + sonoff.
The main benefit is that when a kid wakes up he/she knows is in the room plus you won’t get killed during a quick check. Remember to pick the most low power bulb for it as even 1W still keeps the room at good sight condition (at night ofc).
