New on eWeLink WEB V3.10: Introducing the Battery Insights and Timer Viewer

In eWeLink WEB V3.10 ( Nov 12, 2024) , we’ve developed these tools to make your smart home experience even more seamless:

:battery:Battery Insights

We understand how crucial it is to maintain your devices’ functionality. Our new Battery Insights feature offers centralized battery monitor, allowing you to check all your device battery levels in one dashboard.

What You Can See
On the Battery Insights page, you can now view important battery information:

  • Current battery level
  • Battery model

Note: some devices may need to be re-added to eWeLink app before they can automatically obtain battery information. You can also check the device manual or label and manually select the battery model.

Why This Matters
Understanding your device’s battery status helps you:

  • Plan battery replacements before devices stop working
  • Ensure you purchase the correct battery model
  • Maintain optimal device performance
  • Avoid device downtime due to battery depletion

Where to Purchase Batteries

On the page we provide links to common e-commerce platforms like AliExpress and Amazon, you can search for the battery models you need.

Battery Safety Tips

  • Always use matched battery models
  • Store spare batteries in a cool, dry place
  • Never mix old and new batteries
  • Properly dispose of used batteries
  • Check polarity when installing

Note: Battery life varies based on usage patterns, environmental conditions, and device settings.

:alarm_clock: Timer Viewer

Checking all device schedules just got easier with our new Timer Viewer:

  • Unified View: See all your device timers in one place
  • Daily Overview: Clear visualization of your schedule in recent 7 days
  • Coming soon in next update:
Quick Edit: Modify your timers on eWeLink WEB
Bulk Management: Efficiently handle multiple timer settings

On the page,

  • You can check all your timers, or switch between your Loop Timer, Schedule, and Timer (count down).
  • If you have set Loop Timers, they’ll be pinned top.
  • And if you have set Timers (count down), they will show the executing time.
  • Check recent 7 days timers by the calendar upper right.

:rocket: What’s Next: We’re continuously working to improve eWeLink products based on your feedback. In the coming weeks, we’ll be adding more functionality to eWeLink WEB to make it even more powerful.

Are you making the battery thing just Web or bringing it to the iHost too? I use a HACS store integration on Home Assistant called “Battery notes” for a similar thing. It remembers number, type of battery and you can download a dashboard so they all appear in one screen. It’s quite useful and saves you from having to search for low batteries and remember which batteries they have.

After this update, the DW2 wifi model is experiencing problems. The device does not update the battery status and remains at 2% and after a few hours it goes offline. The device was deleted and added, it was replaced with several new Duracell batteries and also tested with a 3v source. The old marker on the first page shows full battery, but entering the settings menu shows 2 to 3% remaining. The problem is not the improper percentage marking, but the problem of going offline after a few hours.
Could someone help me please.
