Now we’d love to hear from you: How do you like these Tools? What improvements would you like to see? Your ideas will directly help us improve and shape future updates!
To thank you for your input, we’ll select users who share constructive feedback and reward each with a1-month eWeLink membership and coupons for SONOFF products.
1 The device firmware logic itself does not support real-time battery reporting. The method we currently use is to collect the voltage values reported by the device and then map them to a battery level range. Converting these into an exact percentage would be inaccurate.
2 The drop-down menu for battery models is mainly designed for some older devices that cannot automatically detect their battery type, so users can set it manually. If your device is a newer model, you can safely ignore this option.
3 Both the eWeLink App and Web can send you a reminder when the battery voltage reaches a low level. On Web, please make sure to enable “Push Notification” in the device settings page, and also confirm that your browser does not block notifications (for example, in Chrome → Settings → Privacy & Security → Notifications, permission needs to be allowed).
Once again, we truly appreciate your detailed feedback. As a thank you, we’d love to gift you one month of membership and SONOFF coupons — please check your messages, we are contacting you.
Dear you don’t need to set it up manually. The device firmware will automatically report low battery levels. Just need to enable Push Notification on the device settings page, and ensure that your browser allows notifications.
The relationship between voltage and battery charge depends on the Battery Chemistry. I commonly use Rechargeable batteries. This feature would be more useful if you let us select NiCd etc.
Thank you for sharing your suggestions! We’ll pass them along to our software team. As a token of our appreciation, we’d love to gift you one month of membership and SONOFF coupons — please check your messages, we’ve reached out to you.
Thanks. I think you probably already do this to an extent. The TVRZV using standard AA batteries probably has a different curve to the Temperature sensor using standard coin cell batteries. I would just add extra curves for rechargeable batteries and let us switch to them.
I am taking my first steps with the Thermo plugin. It would be a great addition if it works, a much more elegant heating control. Being able to control more than one device per scene (or whatever you call them) would make a massive difference. I have a total of 15 heaters to control and with a limit of 10 scenes I am not able to do all that I wish, there are many that could be grouped if we could switch more than one device. Thanks
Thermo Plugin It is unusable, you will not make the mistakes that it reported. If I want to control multiple thermometers and one pump, it is necessary block unactiv therermostst with them scenes.
Battery Insights unusable for real using.
Server Status uninteresting to me. A company like ewelink must have 100% uptime since your devices are dependent on the cloud.
Device Sharing very good solution I use it and I can’t complain it works great. I use cross-sharing between different accounts.
If you want improvements, read the forum and what we write. I understand that not everything can be done, but some ideas are excellent.
