Mode/Tool to migrate Zigbee devices

Hi, I have many devices connected to a Zigbee bridge (not pro), I would like to buy the new ultra bridge but I realized that I have to repeat the configuration to pair the device so I have to do the scene again.
I don’t think it’s impossible to create a way/routine to migrate the device from one hub to another.
As Zigbee devices grow this will become more and more necessary.

That’s not possible as far as I know.

You can buy the new hub and slowly make the migration, like five per day.

It is possible but the process isn’t easy. It is relatively complex, given the encryption in Zigbee networks. Sometimes it runs easily, but much more often things do not go as expected. Even if a Zigbee radio migration is successful, sooner or later various problems will surface. So @port4u’s proposal is not unreasonable and perhaps easier to implement.

Ok Thanks but I’ve to open many electrical distribution box and restart the pairing process with the new bridge.

With the new bridge ultra I think this need can grow in the market
Do you know if other Zigbee brands have the same problem?

I migrated my ZigBee devices from Sonoff ZB bridge pro to Sonoff ZB bridge Ultra…

In the beginning, I had similar thoughts to yours, that I would have to open every electrical box and that it would be very complicated.

However, when I deregistered the ZigBee devices from the old ZB Bridge Pro, it would “stay” in pairing mode, long enough for me to pair it with the new ZB bridge Ultra, which made the switch somewhat easier.

So I didn’t have to open every electrical box, but I lost half a day to connect about 30 devices and create scenes.

This is not a brand-specific issue.

Great , this is a good information.
