“Missing Piece in the Sonoff Zigbee Ecosystem: Dry Contact Relay”

Why don’t you produce a Zigbee device with a dry contact?

It would be extremely useful for many applications: boilers, gates, intercoms, and various automations… without having to rely on WiFi or make awkward modifications.

You already have a well-developed Zigbee ecosystem, but this key piece is still missing.

I just found this on AliExpress:

Zigbee Tuya Ewelink Smart Switch Module DC 7-32V 220V 1 Way Wireless Switch Relay Compatible With Alexa Google Home

I have tested this relay, it works well and depending on your needs you can order different types of power supply and with a box or just the board itself. I used it to make a siren

Very interesting topic to have dry contact on Zegbbe systems that sometimes lack scene matching dialog. I think those at Sonoff need to take into account the competition if they look at the difference of a large diversity having a Common, No and NC. which creates diversity in switching logics. The possible retention from SONOFF is the volume of the device that still has to have another switching relay internally. For them it is more efficient to send the same electrical power phase sent to the switching but this lowers it.So SONOFF here is a new perspective on broader automation possibilities and perhaps an answer to these ideas.
