I recently bought the SONOFF MINI ZB RBS to test it with my curtain motor. I installed it successfully, paired it with my Zigbee gateway via eWeLink, and calibrated it. Everything worked perfectly right after installation.
However, the next day, the device had disappeared completely from the eWeLink app.
I added it again, recalibrated it, and it worked fine — but after another day, the same issue happened: the device was gone again from the app.
So far, this problem has repeated twice.
The gateway is stable and other Zigbee devices stay connected.
The module works perfectly when re-added and calibrated.
Firmware version is ok
Has anyone else experienced this issue where the MINI ZB RBS disappears from the eWeLink app after some time?
Could this be a firmware or Zigbee stability issue?
Any advice or help from the Sonoff technical team would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I am facing the same. Two days back I lost connection to both of my ZBRBS. Then I had to uninstall and reconnect them. Now again one of them is not visible anymore. Quite annoying! I am considering to return them now.
Hi, my MINI-ZBRBS are also disappearing while the RSSI is Good (-67dBm). It happened 3-4 times for both modules in 12h. When disappearing, they go back to pairing mode (blinking LED). They keep their settings (Calibration, Pusle mode…). But loose their device name on my iHost and Matter-associated Google Nest Mini.
Bought two MINI-ZBRBS. First one - worked like a charm, calibration, everything great.
So I installed second one and was not able to get it working, it reverted back to pairing mode within minutes, even during calibration. I was not able to control curtains even by physical switch connected to MINI-ZBRBS.
After playing with this second device, I went back to first one just to find it disappeared from eWeLink too.
So after spending few hours wiring venetian blinds, I have nothing and gave up for the moment. Any advices here?
ZBB-Pro and MINI-ZBRBS are on latest firmware. I even upgraded ZBBridge during installation and tried to power it off. Also, I do not see RSSI signal strenght in MINI-ZBRBS configuration. Maybe, it is OK.
If it helps I found that rapid clicking the switch a few times puts it in pairing mode. That can be handy to recover it without opening your wall / electrical box. It can also be the reason why you’re loosing pairing. So never click twice within a couple seconds.
OK, thank you. Of course I was “playing” with the new toy, so it might happen. But at least, first module disappeared after an hour or so, while not in use. I assumed it was finished and wired/configured second device.
